I don't really care who wins but my wife Miss America wants a party. So since 4 out of the 6 of our guests are 9er fans I will be rooting for the Chiefs.

I am rooting for the Chiefs. But the Niners are stacked on offense, defense and ST as they go all in.

Unfortunately, I think the Niners are not going to let the Chiefs take their SB title this time around.

Yeah that’s how I feel too as the good lord is testing me with first Michigan & now San Francisco.

It does seem though that the Chiefs are peaking while the Niners are fading a bit, especially defensively.

So it will be an interesting game, and I am leaning KC.

Let's not fool ourselves. Most likely the 49ers pull out the win, especially if either McCaffrey and/or Kittle get rolling. Purdy may wobble, but I don't think he's gonna crack under the pressure of a Super Bowl. He made it through the NFCC.

This is gonna suck. Rams will have to come back next year and win it all again to take the sting out of this one!

Chiefs defense has been playing out of their minds in the playoffs. I don't see a niners path to victory

Within the comments section of an NFL IG post, I saw someone say "...as a Rams fan, I'm rooting for the Niners and the NFC West"

:sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2::sick2:

I'm so disappointed. Even with the Taylor Swift narrative, I could never...

Why doesn't the Chiefs coaching staff get raided every year? I guess Andy Reid isn't as good as McVay in the eyes of the NFL.

Good point. Yes, the Chiefs are peaking and the Niners are fading a bit.
But this is the Super Bowl and teams are going all out leaving nothing on the table as this game is it for all the fame and glory.
It would not surprise me with both teams resorting to “trick plays” like a fake punt or Philly Special to catch the other team off-guard.
I don’t like both teams. But Shanahan has been to the SB three times. This time I think he will adapt from his past lessons to the SB and win it all.

Chiefs' D-Line coach Joe Cullen is reportedly going to be the DC in Seattle.

I think age of coaches has a lot to do with it. The Rams have a ton of younger coaches; and many of the ones poached are younger. The Rams struck gold with Sean McVay; and many organizations want the next McVay. That's been the case since 2018.

Just pulled-up the Chiefs' Coaching Staff. Thirty coaches, including Reid ... 30!!!

Games like this usually comes down to quarterback play. Hard to bet against Mahomes. Purdy's had luck his way with multiple potential game changing INT's being dropped by the defenders. Not sure he can keep relying on that luck.

Also think O-Line-play impacts the QB-play.

When the Bucs beat the Chiefs in 2020, K.C. had OL issues and injuries, starting a RT (who was a weak pass-protector at RT) at LT, and a G at RT. Tampa was all-over Mahomes that game; and Mahomes really struggled.

I think the Niners' pass-rushers have an edge over the Chiefs' OL that has very average OTs, and their best OL (Joe Thuney) is out with an injury.

honestly I would be fine with a SF win as long as they don't get another one for 30 years

Below are (former) head coaches that were on the Chiefs staff.

Todd Bowles
Doug Pederson
Sean McDermott
Matt Nagy
David Culley

He lost OC Eric Bieniemy to Washington when they hired Rivera. Spags had his stint with us so I guess he's done being an HC.

Not sure if the SF pass rush is as strong as the past couple years. Bosa went from 34 sacks the previous two years to 10.5 this season. Chase Young has 2.5 sacks in 9 games with SF. Hargrave has 7 sacks. Down 4 from the previous year with Philly.

Then you have the Mahomes factor. He can be pretty slippery back there trying to make a tackle. Sure, SF can do what Tampa did. But then again, they may not.

And KC probably has the best defense they've had in the Mahomes era.

I hope so man. Nothing worse than the Niners holding a Lombardi.

I know what you are saying bud..it hurt me to type it.

But as my grandpappy used to say, wish in one hand and shit in the other, and you'll figure out which one is real
