Mumpfield had (by far) the third most snaps on Sunday. And we keep hearing that Davante considers him his understudy. I think this is his chance to step up, with a few more snaps for Tutu to stretch the field.
Adams has been described as a separation machine his whole career. McVay called Mumpfield those exact words when drafting him.
He just might break out this game. Then you have TuTu who will be in single coverage himself now that Puka will get more attention.
And we have this big, fast # 18 who can blow past LBs for over the top stuff. And the other 2 TEs who can get open themselves.
And Adams just might play. even if he is just out there for goal line stuff the D will have to respect him.
Then you have our O line playing out of their minds and 2 RBs who can get it done.
All those Adams 1 yard TDs, what are the odds we still get that TD by running or throwing to someone else ? Pretty darn good.
We will be fine.

The Super Bowl is 8 weeks away. The NFC Championship is in 6 weeks. Rest him and Lake at least another month.

I know they "have to get there," but I think they can without them, and you need them healthy to win the big one.

Tu Tu won't do them much good in the red zone and that's obviously where Adam's makes his beans. IMO, it's all on the TE's (12 & 13 personel) until Adams return, that is IF he returns. To be honest, I don't understand why they used Adams between the 20's when he had been nursing that hammy all week. It seems limiting him to short routes in the red zone would have put less stress on his leg. As for Tu Tu, good luck on finding him in the EZ, we've already seen the lack of red zone TD production earlier in the season.
You're using Tutu in matchup situations and screens as I see it. It seems to me many forget how well Tutu stepped up a few years back when Kupp went down. He did well! This is what makes many of us scratch our heads when McVay doesn't play him more. He has good hands and we know he's a burner.

No one thinks he's a world beater out there but it's ridiculous to not use his talents more.

No one is able to step in for Adams, but there will be opportunities to step up as a team to help fill the void. If those who have the opportunity do step up the Rams will be fine.

I expect more 13 personnel with Ferguson getting more looks. In the Rz I think mcvay will just lean on the oline and run gm.

I think TuTu has to take on a bigger role.... that is all I can think of at the moment.

Hamstrings are tricky.... Adam's could be good enough to go but in limited action.

Tutu can stretch the field and open up the underneath for Puka and others. Tutu still has to be accounted for, or Stafford will hit him for a long TD

Rams are so cagey with info on injuries, so hard to tell the true prognosis on guys.

I'm split-- on the one hand, play if safe and save DA for playoffs.

On the other hand, this Thursday night is HUGE, practically on par with a playoff game, given that a win or loss would probably mean the difference between seeding at #1 or #5. So if it's a judgment call, Rams might think this game is so huge that they might want DA to go even if not 100%.

That's the scary thing about the NFC West being crowded. 1 tough loss and you could not have any home playoff games even with 13 or 14 wins.
