The Rams history is rich with great players and coaches and so it wouldn't do to have 20 statues outside of SoFi, imo. My requirements would be:
*Ultimate Success at SoFi
*HOF worthy player that reached the pinnacle of success in LA, especially during the SoFi era (since this is outside of the greatest stadium in LA and in the World)
* Pick the greatest HC in Rams history. I also attach the HC success at SoFi.

You don't have to use my criteria, but it's just my idea that the two statues should represent founding pillars of Rams success in their second go around In Los Angeles.
My Picks:

Ring Me, Aaron Freakin Donald

HC Sean McVay

AD should undoubtedly have one. And McVay the second he retires. If Marshall had played for the L.A. Rams, he would have to be included. I think Whitworth should also be under consideration. Even though he only played for the Rams for 5 years, the fact he had a huge impact on the field, winning the Man of the Year and being a model citizen outside the game, warrants consideration. Not enough to get a statue but the consideration honors him to a degree.

Other "old" Rams?
Waterfield, Van Brocklin, Deacon, Merlin, Fears, Hirsch, Slater, Dickerson, Harold Jackson, etc.

Of the choices have to take AD & McVay. Hard to pass on Big Whit and Kupp, in another 2 or 3 years Stafford will be worthy.

Franchise players that are hall of famers should be the only ones considered for statues.

Aaron Donald, period. He’s the player around whom the new LA Rams were/are built. He did everything in his power to deliver their first title since returning. When all of the back and forth dies down, there will only be one name permeated throughout EVERY conversation…
AARON FUCKING DONALD.

If you want to pay tribute to other Ram greats, do so in another designated area. Perhaps a room inside the stadium—a museum type setting.

…but let’s stop wasting clicks on what should be a no brainer.

AARON FUCKING DONALD.

Why would you put any other coach above McVay right now? Aside from Vermeil, he's the only one to win a Super Bowl as HC, so why would he need to win a couple more Super Bowls to surpass those who never won anything? Seven years as the Rams HC in LA and has only had one losing season. Even Vermeil had mostly losing seasons in St Louis, aside from 1999. Besides, I'm connecting these statues not only to the greatness they represent, but also connecting their success to our historic home at SoFi. They also won the first ever Super Bowl there and in the process stopping the Niners there in the NFCCG. In 2021, the Rams became the second NFL team to win a Super Bowl in SoCal, ever.

I don't disagree with anything you said there but a a SB or two more is what would make him unquestioned to the braindead's ( hell even to this day you see the Game Day threads and more where the jack asses who don't know their ass from a pinata about football complain about McVay as if we'd be better off without him smh)

Not only that but I selfishly want to catch up to my Cowturd/RAIDER friends so the literally have no legs to stand on in any argument! lol

Has anyone ever done that?

Sure, people get frustrated at some of his play calling (like an empty backfield from the one yard line, for example), but I haven’t seen anyone say that we should get rid of him.
