Sorry but the tuck rule was worse.

At least that was an actual rule LOL.

And I wish the Raiders had gone to the SB that year. The Rams would have sliced and diced that defense.

Also, that game wasn't for the trip to the SB, it was the Divisional round. The Patriots still had a game to win to get to the SB.

Saints fans (El Caliente), sorry to say but your head coach probably costed you guys the game. He was so obsessed with whining to the officials the rest of the game that he probably lost focus and tried to win the game in one play which resulted in Brees getting hit as he threw and the rest is history.

I would feel bad for Saints fans if they could say they never had a bad call go in their favor but we know that's not true.

The Rams are moving on. I feel no need to apologize. It's not like the Rams cheated.

If you watch that interception play you'll see something I didn't notice the Rams do all game.

They stood Suh up and had him jam Kamara at the line. All it took was one bump from Suh to throw Kamara. It made him not be able to 'square up' his guy.

I think the play was going to Kamara and after that Brees had nowhere to go just as pressure hit his face.

Instead of rehashing the ONE thing the refs did to cause the Saints to lose, why don't we list the many things the Saints did themselves that contributed to the cause. I'll start.

1. Don't give up a 13-0 lead at home.

Payton lost his cool and blew his play calls. Remember how McVay gathered the D late in the Seattle game? He's always in control of his emotions. You can't control what happens, but you can control your response. The way McVay conducts himself in high pressure situations is incredible at his age.

This a something that Ive been thinking about during the BS carry on by Payton, the Saints owner and the media in general since the end of the game. If the roles were reversed and it was the Rams who were on the end of that particular bad call, would McVay have carried on in the same fashion Payton did? We've all been on McVay's case at some point this season about getting more animated with the Refs when obvious bad calls are made against us but he continues to just get on with things. I would like to think he would have his head in the game and concentrate on the things he can control, like making sure I played in a controlled fashion in OT and get points on the board and stopping the opposition from getting into FG range. Payton seemed to lose the plot after the missed PI call and it affected the Saints ability to win the game.
Absolutely. You know the teams is looking to him for Qs on how to deal with the adversity. If he shuts up after a minute and keeps his cool, his team might have won. It's ok for fans to loose our shit, but not the coach or QB.

The Saints got away with numerous PIs, holds, roughing, face-mask, etc. All the other no-calls, if called, would have shortened the game and that last play never would have happened! The Rams would have won long before that. You can't just add one no-call to the game; that's cherry-picking. Add all of them, and the Rams win anyway.

Sorry but the tuck rule was worse.
How about missing a blatant offsides so the OT trying to recover from the DE being behind him when the ball is snapped is then called for a hold on a 40 yard pass that puts your team at the 1 yard line. So on the next play the QB throws an interception (because they are 3rd and 20) and when the QB goes low to tackle the returner the refs tack on another 15 yards for blocking below the waist, on a tackle. That was in a SB. That is just one worst call I have ever seen. Come on, this is just another really bad call that ruins a teams season. How about calling a touchdown but it was only Vinnie testeverde's helmet that the ref saw cross the goal line. That caused a team to miss the playoffs, cost a coach his job and got video replay back in the NFL. How about ….. well you get my drift.
