Look, even I, with all of my completely-lacking-in-Italian-blood, know that pineapple should be nowhere near a pizza. It's disgusting, un-American, and only a Pizza Nazi would say it's right.

Seriously, though, fuck pineapple, and fuck pineapple pizza.

. Some might disagree with me, but I think he was the most significant player in GSOT.
I have said many times here that Faulk is the best football player I have ever seen. I think I voted ED as best RB, but it's really 1.a and 1.b with him and Faulk at that position as well. Gurley may even be 1.c......so many great backs have played for this team.

How bout best preseason Ram, Marcus Dupree. I dont remember if he ever played in the regular season, just remember the knee injuries derailed his career before it ever got started.

Guess my memory is worse than I thought, he did play some regular season games, but his stats dont really match my memory.

Steven Jackson baby!

To those who complained he danced around behind the line, even on some of these runs look how fast someone is behind the line and he needs to make them miss to even have a chance to make a great run.

Will always love him for willing us to that 1 win season so we didn't get blanked and pushed past the Lions for the win!

One of my favorite Rams' games in 50 years of being a fan of the Team.

Rams were coming-off two awful seasons in 1981 and 1982, and were not expected to be good. Tons of changes and new faces but they played a lot of good football from the start of the season, and qualified for the playoffs. Did not expect a win in Dallas but the whole team played well, with a number of big plays in the Rams' favor.

One of my top-10 Rams' victories in my lifetime.

Dickerson took some serious shots in these games, Dallas had a pretty nasty D with Too Tall Jones. He could run over, around or juke one out of their jock. Such a special runner.
83 was just awesome, all those QB's drafted and we took ED

Grew up watching Dick bass. Lawrence McCutcheon should get an honorable mention.
You know I wasn't the biggest fan of Greg Bell, but year to year & his meaning tomThe
rams
Meant a lot.He kept
John Robinson legacy for a little bit. It is what it was & he helped keep some what a playoff streak ?
Who knows, just the way I saw it.Was Jeff Fisher even a Rams coach back then ? I wanted
Cornelius Bennett from Penn State!! I was a Drafrnik back then & thought wow why not draft a HOF guy ? Not sure what he meant to that Bills team.Just Happy when O’Line play is there to help a RB.

I can’t think of a single franchise with a greater history of running backs than the Rams, although I will freely admit that I don’t know as much about other teams’ history.
I’d have to say Dallas , but you know I have to say RB’s only take a team so far.
In ED29 I’ll always look back at those PIGS in the NFC East as well?

Sort of funny to see what Barkley does in PHILLY ? That East is Widw open ? Maybe not ?

I like The Rams front line & depth at RB.

Could not follow all of this but Cornelius Bennett was out of Alabama; and he was drafted by the Colts prior to the Dickerson trade. However, Bennett did not sign with the Colts so he was traded to Buffalo in the three-team-trade that netted the Rams a huge haul in Greg Bell, three #1 picks and thee #2 picks.

Unfortunately, the Rams did not draft well with those six premium draft choices.

Dickerson is my all time favorite....I started watching as a little kid in the 70's. McCutcheon was the bell cow in Knox's offense, loved Cappy. Cullen Bryant filled in when they needed a breather. When they drafted Dickerson I sat on the fender of the golf cart he was on when ESPN showed up at his first day of camp at CSUF. Loved him from day one. Greg Bell was no Dickerson but he was very solid in the limited time we had him and almost got us to the SB before Lott annihilated Flipper on the first series of championship game. Then we got Marshall. Just an unbelievable stroke of luck for arguably the worst run franchise of the era. Absolutely dominated from day one with Kurt/Isaac etc. Then SJ comes next.....If I had to rate my favorites: Dickerson #1, Faulk #1A, SJ #1B. As someone mentioned previously it would be difficult for any other franchise to have such a great historical RB roster than the Rams.

if it wasn't for John Cappelletti, I probably would have followed most of my family and been a Jets fan, and still be in a state of depression
