From everything I have seen, read and heard, Shough is going to be drafted much higher than that.
Yep he keeps moving up weekly it seems, Todd McShay was one of the first to sing his praises and a lot of others have joined in. I'm surprised he has only received 2 votes in this poll because there is no way some of the QB's with more votes than him should be taken before him. I guess people are factoring in what round you can get the players also.

Well that includes just about everyone here on ROD.
Ha! I meant a QB with a drinking problem but both may qualify. I work in gaming bars, so I’m sure I qualify (as I sip my rum with an IPA chaser). :woozy2:

To be clear, I wouldn’t take anyone this year - we have far bigger needs, and the 2026 QB class looks much stronger.

However, the question says “if you had to”, so I went for Ewers. He has all the arm talent, but needs to refine his decision making. Give him a year or two to learn from Stafford (and, to a lesser extent, Jimmy G), and he could be an excellent starting QB.
As much as I loves me some Matthew Stafford, decision making is not always his strong suit at times. Luckily for us, his skill set is so high that he tends to overcome many of his poor throwing decisions. I prefer the gun slinger mentality if they have the skill to back it up.

I was wrong on Bo Nix.
Haha. Me too!

Though I don't think Nix has the success he had without Payton as a head coach.

Also, I'm curious if he can either duplicate what he did last year or grow from it. Still some big holes in his game. Maybe this is all just cope for me but I think it's beyond binary he was good/I was wrong reaction.

I am not a fan of Milroe’s hand size, and fumbles… which only gets worse with the larger NFL football.

I like Tyler Shough.

Not necessarily for the Rams, or even as a 1st round pick but I think he is a good QB prospect; and definitely higher than #90 overall. Also think he will go in Round One.
Well, where I think he's worth taking, where I think he should go, and where he'll actually go are all different.

But (by agreeing with Louisville) you were saying that you THINK Tyler Shough SHOULD go late Round Three?

Is that correct?

I think this is a fun draft for Quarterbacks.

As I have posted a few times, I hope the Rams do not select a QB. However, I think it will be entertaining and interesting to see how high, and where Sanders, Dart, Shough and Milroe all go.
