Maybe it doesn’t matter to designate one #3 and play them both? TuTu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson have each contributed, but differently.

Atwell has 5 catches over 30yds, to Robinson’s 1 catch of 30yds.

Despite that, Robinson is averaging more yards per catch at 14.1 vs Atwell 12.9.

Atwell is 3rd on the team in reception yards.

They are tied with 3 TD’s apiece.

Robinson has averaged 50yds/gm the last 3 games and can go up for the ball, which is not Atwell’s game.

But… Atwell’s game (speed) can break one at any time.

I think with Atwell coming back from injury, Robinson has earned some of the 3rd WR snaps... Yet, Atwell’s speed can be a mismatch situationally for defenses… so do they spit snaps?

Gonna have to split at this point but I think Robinson might be our 3rd. If Tutu cant burn them, then have to go up and get it with Robinson. Robinson has more overall ability than Tutu straight burn-em skills. I would start Tutu tonight, but use Robinson if needed.

I think Robinson is a bit more versatile, but Atwell is a valuable deep threat. In addition to the completed deep balls, he’s drawn at least 3 PI penalties.

Atwell = a weapon for the offense
Robinson = prototypical starting WR

In my opinion, Tutu is a weapon and he makes our passing game harder to stop even when hes not getting the ball. Being able to deploy him as needed should (imo) make him more valuable overall.
In a perfect world, Tutu is our WR4 but a 4 who can be put on the field at any WR position to exploit mismatches.
Robinson looks like a legit WR2 with a surprisingly potent combination of size and speed and a natural fit in this Offense. I hope the Rams can get him back for next year at the very least. We will need him!

I think we might have to go back to the 2004 Rams WRs with Bruce, Holt, Kevin Curtis and Shaun Mcdonald to find a Rams WR corps with a top 4 as dangerous as this years group.

I’m going with Tutu as the 3rd, but that shouldn’t take away anything that Robinson has done.

They’ve both had some great games this year.
I just prefer to have Atwells burner, speed on the field.

I think with Tutu getting hurt Timson has made it a 3a and 3b type situation.

I think that's a great thing especially with Allen also producing as te2 some.

I understand what you meant but ... HUH!

The T is next to the Y on a keyboard, so I get the 'Tuyu' ... but ... 'Timson'!?! ... WTF?!

Are you hanging-out with So Ram? That's OK but, please ... moderation.

Tutu is a nice deep threat to stretch the field. And the PI's he can create. But Robinson offer more. Can block on run plays. And it seems Stafford has trust in him. I think they're better with Robinson as WR3 and Tutu as WR4.

Demarcus all day. He’s a veteran that knows how to get separation. He understands the offense, is bigger than Tutu with a longer wing span. I think the offense is better with Robinson.

For all of Atwell’s speed you’d think he could get more separation than he does.

Both important, but Robinson's making his case, for sure.

I've said it before.. how much do we think it will take to keep Robinson? $3 million? He'd be ideal at that price and affords the Rams rare stability at that position.

Totally.
Using Atwell less and keeping his legs fresh might even make him more effective.... hopefully.

TuTu, but Robinson is proving to be a worthy add. e have 4 solid when they are all healthy. TuTu is dynamic and puts pressure on the D with his speed. I like taking shots to him early to make the D think

Hmmm… Decisions, decisions….
Speed kills. And you can’t teach speed. But every time Tutu gets the ball I just had a feeling that one of those Safeties is going to blast him into concussion protocol.
So I have to go with Demarcus Robinson.

Both have great pluses and both have minuses. I just glad we don't have a fall off there.

I mean, Tutu's utility at X was always kinda meh. He's good from F (which I didn't necessarily think!) but that's where Kupp lines up mostly. Robinson has some traditional X abilities so it's nice to have him out there and he looks like he's even offering us more from there than Jefferson (except speed).

Heard Robinson's blocking actually isn't that great but haven't payed enough attention to him.

Ultimately, there's room for both of them to rep out. Robinson at the traditional X. Tutu playing X and F at times with Kupp moving to X.
I do think we'll continue to see Robinson's snap count rise in general and would not be shocked to see it overtake Tutu.
