Ferguson makes a great catch early then he is never to be seen again. I don't get it.
I don't think they trust him with the full offense yet. There's a lot that goes into it at TE. Has to know the protections, blocking scheme, and the routes (including options, sight adjustments, etc.).

Look we can all talk about what could have been. But at the end of the day we lost to a backup qb, to 3rd and 4th string receivers and had no defensive plan for CMC - their only offensive weapon. This defensive plan was an absolute JOKE! Outside of Warner and Lenoir, who the fuck do the 49ers have on defense? No clue. But we lost. This is a complete loss on the Rams. Outcoached as ALWAYS against Rat Boy.

Wow, usually I read the entirety of the vent thread but I might not bother this time.

Rams have played their guts out all season and for the first time they came out really flat. So what? A flat start happens every season to every team in the NFL.

What I saw was a team that scrapped hard to come back to make a terrific close game after a miserable start.

And yes, I'm glad that McVay went for it on fourth and one. What, tie it and give them a full 3 minutes to get the ball back and win it? McVay gets tons of shit on here for being too conservative... and then he finally makes a decision to go for the win and he still gets shit for it?

The Rams are still a fantastic team and have a legit chance to win it all this year. I for one am gonna enjoy the ride.

I have no issue with McVay going for it. Can even understand the play-call. I'm furious at Kyren Williams. He's gotta be smarter after last year.

This is 100% it. It’s all the stuff besides running and catching the ball.

Bingo! He is in on an occasional pass play as an option but not going to get many snaps in protection. Hopefully he progresses and his role gets extended.

Remind me of how many snaps Tutu was on the field and how many targets he got.
What the hell does Tutu’s target share have to do with how the offense performed? They drove it down the field on almost every single possession. Dropped passes and turnovers are the only reason we didn’t score 40 points.

I thought we were going to win that game 3 different times and still somehow managed to lose.

Yes, he has. I am pissed tonight. But you're not about to find me talking shit about the coach who put an end to over a decade of losing and won us a Super Bowl. If you think McVay is the problem, you're spoiled by what McVay has done. I still remember the Jeff Fisher, Steve Spagnuolo, and Scott Linehan days.
Oh I remember them too. I didnt say hes 100% the problem. Hes just stubborn and makes the same dumb ass Mistakes over and over and over.

there was about 1 min left in the game and we were about to score an easy TD when Kyren fumbled...

It's really just not acceptable.
Especially because that’s the only way we lose the game there. He HAS to be gripping the life out of the ball with both hands there. I don’t know how he continues to struggle like this.

Tiki Barber and Adrian Peterson both had major major fumble problems early in their careers and they ultimately got it fixed. Hopefully Kyren can do the same.

You are going on and on about McVay... but the only mistake he made was teh play call on 4th and 1.

It should have never game down to that... without the fumbling and special teams blunders it would have been long over with.

I'm just wondering how with the talent we have on offense how are we not an elite offense? I swear ever since the sb win its been a struggle to score 24 points. I really hope mcvay gets the offense on track to really unleashe the elite dline we have.

Playing with two backup olineman and bums at tight end doesn’t help. Oh and a rb that can’t hold onto the ball in clutch moments.

Fred Warner said the same thing as Lenoir. Even referenced the conversion to Puka to ice the game vs Houston in week 1. Said he’d seen us run play action in a similar look before…but he said the way we lined up on that last 4th down he knew 100% it was a run.
