The slow starts are a real problem. It reduces any room for mistakes. It creates unnecessary pressure and amplifies every mistake that this team makes.
The pregame game planning has really sucked for a season and half at least. I think it must be the OC, I know McVay calls the plays and works on the game plan, but until this OC the Rams have never started games so sluggish.
On top of that, I don't understand how any DC wouldn't know how Shannahan was going to attach. For that matter, with the Dline's rep, just about all teams are going to want to get the ball our fast. Don't give me, worried about the DBs. They new what they had and stayed with them. So I call bullshit.
Our coaching staff needs to game plan way better. Waiting to see how they are being attacked and adjusting leaves them no room for mistakes when they are trying to come back in every game.
