It's the NFC Championship game and you get to choose your opponent for the purpose of this fantabulous poll. Historically, our main rival has been Frisco (yeah, I know they hate it when I call it that!). They swept our asses last year which allowed the sucky Seachickens to win the NFC West. I would LOOOOOVE to crush their souls in the NFC Championship game, causing their whole organization to implode! The danger is, they have had our number during the Goff years, even when they weren't that good. If they beat us in our own house in the NFC Championship game, it would be even worse, ASFAIC.

Enough framing....Would you rather beat Frisco in NFC Championship game with it chance for eternal glory, or ignominious shame, or beat some palooka contender that we blow out 9 times out of 10?

Risk vs. sure thing.

I go back and forth on this....I want to have the Rams win another Super Bowl in my lifetime and so it's so damn tempting to want the sure thing entry into the Super Bowl.

I picked the niners. I want the Rams to stomp their ass after these past two years and beating them in the NFCCG would be perfect. I really enjoyed how the Rams knocked the Saints out in 2018 and doing the same to the niners would be even sweeter. However playing a team that we would blow out and win for sure means the starters rest in the 4th quarter and keeps them healthy and fresh for the Big Game.

I honestly feel that the Rams can sweep the entire NFCW this year. Both Seattle and AZ have defensive holes, and only the Niners have enough talent on defense to expect them to be good. But don't underestimate the value of a good DC. The Niners lost one of the best DC's so to expect them to step back a bit as realistic as some here expect the same with Morris vs Staley. That said the Ram's DC is about as complete a unit as you could want and IMO outmatch the Niners on both sides of the ball.

IMO there are only 3 teams that might match up well against the Rams. A Rodgers led Packers, but I don't see their defense good enough to slow down the Rams offense, and the Rams match up well against GB's offense even with Rodgers. Without Rodgers GB IMO has no chance against the Rams. The Colts have a pretty good defense ranked 11 but not good enough to slow the Rams offense down. They also have a huge question mark in Wentz who looks good one game then stinks up the stadium the next week. The Colt OL is good so he should have enough time most of the time to get the ball off. But his accuracy has always been inconsistent week to week.

This leaves Baltimore which is the only truly complete team the Rams face this year. Their offense is solid and dangerous and their defense is even better. They are very similar to what Staley ran only a bit more conventional in their approach. But they are good at disguising their coverages and shift seamlessly from man to zone heavy cover 3. Remember their D was second only to the Rams last year. With the Rams' new speed, I expect the latter to be what they will play most.

On offense, Lamar Jackson poses a threat second only to Mahomes as a runner. He's not as accomplished in his off-schedule throws but he's pretty good regardless. Morris will be forced to play predominately zone but he has the secondary to do it well. IMO this will likely be a pretty close game and come down to who makes the crucial mistake.

I'd rather play and beat the Cowboys while the 49ers, having gone 0-17, lament the fact that the Miami Dolphins hold their No. 1 pick in 2022.

You know what? That might be the best response. And Seattle somehow goes 2-15, and the Jets have the second overall pick.

I'd personally love to see us challenge the Fuckaneers. Go up against the best to be the best. That way, the haters can't whine.

That's a fool's errand. The haters will always whine.

I prefer we bury the 9ers with two losses vs us in the division and their sorry asses don't even get into the playoffs. Don't want to see them in the playoffs.

I picked a sure thing.

If we are in the SB… we’ve already beaten the 49’ers.
