I condemn him for being 5'9, if he's 6'3 I'd get past the immaturity thingI know you and a few others want to condemn him for his behavior. I don't.

I'm not in the condemning business. But have fun with that.
I concur. I'm not going to ding him for being uber competitive and even a little immature.I know you and a few others want to condemn him for his behavior. I don't.
I've found that some of the best leaders are made of a little bit of crazy. That dude has leadership in spades. You could make something out of that if he only had a little more size and arm but he doesn't and that is something I will write him off for.
Hah, it wasn’t too long ago that Willis was Levis.I acquire Willis, Zach Wilson, or ride with Jimmy before I consider Levis tbh

IDK Levis under Liam Coen as his OC led Kentucky to their best season in years.I think Willis showed more in college than Levis did. Levis is a big arm and not much else.
Apparently the knock on Roberston is his accuracy is very inconsistent. McShay had said you could watch him make some throws that make you think he is a top 5 guy. Then you will see wild throws that are not close to being on target. So he has mechanical issues. Fixable.First practice about to kick off in Mobile. I think with this year's QB class it would be wise to look very deep at them and identify the how's and why's some of them disappointed.
Also and again Robertson's a legit prospect, dude had zero defense, no real run game, and was playing from behind a lot. Has the basic tool set. When you consider what the Rams need, which is a QB3 with potential to start after cooking on the bench, assuming he does the work... There's options.
So I don't get the need some have to stick their nose in the air with the QB position. All these guys are dice rolls. This year's dice rolls are steeper odds, but the Rams should take a shot on one of them. Way I see it if the dude has the raw tools (which quite a few of them do), fits the offense (which quite a few of them do), and has the competitive drive and desire you want to see (this is the question) then take a shot on him where you know he'll be there at the best value.
Precisely correct I think.I condemn him for being 5'9, if he's 6'3 I'd get past the immaturity thing
Yeah this is what I saw as well. He had a game vs a 17th ranked team where I think he won it, hard to remember I watched a bunch of his stuff all at once. But at the start he missed and missed and missed.Apparently the knock on Roberston is his accuracy is very inconsistent.
They were saying btw during the practice that the Arkansas kid won't make it out of round 2. He's raw as hell but looks the part.If they pass on Simpson, I would be all in on Robertson, even if you have to reach with maybe the Scheelchase comp pick if they get one at the end of rd 3.
Yep. Levis spent time running the Rams offense in college. They said Coen showed them Rams film during installs of the offense. Coen talked him up quite a bit pre-draft too.IDK Levis under Liam Coen as his OC led Kentucky to their best season in years.
Just stop. And let's disagree. You want someone like that representing this team and these players? If you were the business owner of the Rams and you needed a quarterback, would you tolerate that behavior on and off the field from said quarterback? I condemn because I don't believe he has near the amount of leadership you think he does - at the single most important position on the field. And at 5'9" and with a popgun arm and lacking elite athleticism, the only reason he's being considered is because this quarterback class is weak.
Agreed. The difference between them is that Willis's legs are a trump card. He needed to improve as a passer, but he didn't need to become elite at it because he's such a gifted runner. Levis has functional mobility, but he'll have to win with his arm. I think the Willis jump is easier to make. That said, I'm not opposed to taking a shot on Levis if we're buying low. Worst case scenario, we're not impressed with what we see and we draft a QB next year.IDK Levis under Liam Coen as his OC led Kentucky to their best season in years.
