We are about half a year removed from the 2014 season and I was wondering what the majority on ROD would think was the hardest loss to swallow from last year?

For me I'm split between the Cowboys game and the Chargers game but when I really think about it the Charger game really took the wind out of my sails and re-confirmed the season was lost when Bradford went down and we'd have to endure a full season of 2nd and 3rd string crap QB play. I remember how that game started with JJ killing San Diego's first drive with a pick 6 and the week leading up to it talking crap to Charger fans ( I know a lot and that website that got brought up here) and to loss in that manner when we should of ran the ball. Wow... still not even pissed but upset.

There were so many heart breakers. The Giants after the shutouts and squeaker with the cards. The huge lead lost against the Cowgirls and comebacks not attained. But the worst for me was game one against the Vikings. Slow start? No, nightmare. The keystone cops. It had me so bummed. Horrible everything against a beatable team. Lock down AP and let Patterson destroy us. Wide open receivers for interceptions. D was no where to be seen.

The best was the Raiders. My god.

Giants.

D had allowed a grand total of 39 points over the previous 5 games, hadn't allowed a TD in 3 games, then they come out, fail to realise that it might be a good idea to cover the OROTY, and look like a bunch of idiots by talking smack whilst having their asses handed to them.

.

First game against the cards. Had them there for the taking, the d relaxes for a minute and let their back up qb torch them, then Davis plays like it was the first time he had ever played qb in his life.

I was at that Cowboys game, and somehow Stubhub sold two other guys our same exact seats. We just moved down 12 rows.

I was there too. So you saw first hand how the refs screwed the rams.

Yeah, damn those refs for giving us 21 unanswered points.

It's easy to score points when your OL is allowed to tackle defenders whilst the refs blindly stare at it as if they've never even heard the word "holding".

The loss of Bradford for sure. Thought we had a chance at the playoffs and he looked outstanding. He went down and our season died. I was so depressed. I didn't get revived until the Denver game.

We just came off the big win against Denver. We already had 6 losses, so the San Diego game gave us 7 losses and pretty much killed any chance of a miracle run to the playoffs.

As it turns out; we won the next two and would have been 7-6 with 3 to go had we beaten San Deigo.

I voted the Vikings game. Every year I come into the season with high hopes. Last season, despite the absence of Sam, I thought that game would be an easy 'W' I was very disappointed in how the defense played that day.

The first game of the year is not necessarily a sign of how the year will go but I always look for clues as to what to expect for the season. I saw a work in progress with a much worse backup QB than expected.

When Austin Davis started to get a little hot I had a bit of hope that soon was dashed by the realization that our Defense couldn't hold a 20 point lead against a running team. Blowing the game against the Whiners sucked horribly too. Watching the refs screw the team game after game was also a huge downer. But that first lose to the Vikings was still the hardest one for me to take. My hopes were dashed on the first game of the season.

The second toughest game for me was the Giants game. Once again I had high expectations with the defense. I was banking on them shutting the Giants down. This was not a good Giants team. And the D didn't show up. The Giants focused on running the ball right at an incompletely healed Chris Long and throwing to the apparently uncoverable OBJ. The only thing I had to hang my hat on is a great finish by the defense and they totally flubbed it.

This team has too many guys that don't know what consistency and tenacity is. If you are a winner and hope to get to the Superbowl, then you cannot have games like the Giants game. Big flops against a bad teams is not the way champions play.

I still say that the defense needs a vocal and inspiring leader. I hope TJ steps and I hope Donald or Long steps up and gets in peoples faces. What would be ideal is having that Rey Lewis type of LBer to lead the group. I hope when they finally replace JL that the vocal leadership is one of the traits of they guy they bring in to do the job. That would probably have to be a free agent though since rookies rarely take on the leadership in their first year.

Look, your oline is great, perhaps best in the league. But if you don't think our guys weren't held then them blue and white glasses you're watching the game through is pretty thick.

That int at the end of the Chargers game made me sick. It was redeemed slightly when Russell Wilson did the same thing in the subpar bowl however.

Add QB change at half & then add insult to injury Chris Long.Ram fans saw
season quickly approaching.
--Giants game because I loaded up on it.In the end it was the best thing for The Rams though.Stilll have a bad taste in there mouth plus they drafted Todd Gurley & got Mannion for free.

The way the Chargers game ended was crushing but I voted for the Chiefs game because I remember feeling really down through the whole of that game.

Tough choice though
