Great point! I didn't realize that. The Rams' new DB coach Michael Hunter coached him the past two seasons.

On a very regular basis amigo.
If only they would have gone after a CB last year instead of Tutu. When I started this thread 2 months ago, I couldn't have dreamed they'd get both one of the top FAs, CBs, and a shutdown corner via trade.
It was a year too late fortifying the secondary, but these moves are definitely ALL-IN !!!
Way to go Les Snead and all others involved.

But... I thought the offense was the problem?Same here.
I was thinking go completely in on offense. But I was adamant about not using any of our 1st rounders on any defensive players out of college, and Snead followed my advice.... So he gets two gold stars. lol.
I was surprised Sneads willingness to spend money on D.... But he did it the right way.... through FA..... No we just need a LB.
Only in spots.But... I thought the offense was the problem?
Iirc your take was that you didn't see the Rams making any big moves in the secondary because they were good enough but the Rams offense is the reason they didn't go all the way.Only in spots.
Not putting away teams.... Also 3rd down execution was inconsistent especially after Adam's went down.
Biggest issue was the ST's.... But most of that was fixed with Meavis.
Mevis, for fuck's sake.Only in spots.

Clearly the Rams disagree...
Zero self awarenessI didn't....
But if they did I was hoping it would be through FA.... And I was right...
... And I was right ...
You were also half wrong since the biggest piece came via trade.I didn't....

I agree. Not many teams have this kind of great run. Now we have to hope the SeaChickens lose some more free agents.Glad to see some (appropriately earned) optimism around here.
Still pissed about the modern "trend" of constant bitching and whining and second-guessing. (The GDT being the worst example).
Rams are fucking kicking ass. At least some posters have the good sense to enjoy it.
For the third straight year, Rams will be legit Super Bowl contenders, if not outright favorites.
You didn't say that though you said thisI didn't....
But if they did I was hoping it would be through FA.... And I was right...
C'mon manI say stick with what we have.....
Nailed itI like Jaylen Watson. 6'2" 197, 32+" arms, 4.49 40, and one of the best run defenders in the NFL at CB. He had a good year in coverage this year and was off to a solid start last year before he broke his leg. He's not an elite CB, but he gives us size, physicality, and good cover skills outside. Those are all things we need. I'd still grab at least a couple CBs in the Draft, but I think we need a reliable veteran starter too.
