The 1 seed, to me, is gone, which is fine.

I think it'll be between Seattle and SF. That's what is most exciting for the league, so I anticipate a SF victory tonight.

Let me preface by saying I hope this ages horribly, but...let's be honest, whiners will win that game.

So, the question is, would you rather play in Seattle or SF?

Honestly, I think the better matchup is against SF in SF. Most likely better weather, and their defense is beat up.

Either way, we're going to be road warriors, let's embrace it. Would be pretty epic, wouldn't it?

Might be crazy, but I'd love to see the team run through all the teams that beat them this season.

I don't want to see the Bears. Very mobile QB, cold weather, and they've got to be the luckiest team in the league this year.

I’m truly not worried about any team this year. Any given Sunday we could lose. But if Mcvay, Shula and Stafford are dialed in I expect us to roll teams.

The interesting thing to watch is the return of Lake, Spoon and Mccreary. If they return to form it puts us over the top. Devante is an X factor as well.

I would rather play the Niners then Seattle but really think we roll either team.

The only team I don’t want to play on the road is the eagles. They cannot run the ball but the elements could make it a
Challenge.

Not worried about the Bears at all.

Philly will be the toughest matchup. They can just win in so many different ways. They are 3-0 this year in games where they had fewer than 5 passing yards in a half.

Its ridiculous that the terrible Bucs may get to host us. There really is something wrong about that. They (may have) won a shitty division that we would have lapped. Why should they get rewarded for that? I'm surprised the owners haven't succeeded in changing that madness. You essentially get rewarded for having a terrible division, and punished for having a good one.

I'm pretty much expecting the 5th seed. I think we beat Atlanta and AZ. The loser of the SF/Seattle game will drop to #6. I think we beat whoever wins the south. If Chicago loses tonight and wins next week they'd end up with the #2 seed. Green Bay would go there in round 1. SF/Seattle to Philly. Rams to Car/TB. I think SF, Chicago and the Rams win wild card weekend. Meaning we to go Chicago while SF/Seattle goes to the other teams place. I do think we're fully capable of going on a 3 game run to the Superbowl.

Right at this moment it seems SF is the hottest team. Their offense is on a roll right now. But we know how things change fast in the NFL. And you can score on their defense. I wouldn't mind going to their house. I think we'd put up 30 or 40 points. As long as our defense doesn't go to sleep with a lead we should win.

That’s the format. Gotta win your division to ensure a home game. Flip side is the better divisions get more participants.

Nah Vikings fans said this about us last year too.

And the Panthers beat us so if it's them, literally the same as the Vikings (we beat them in regular season but they had a much better record than us).

You play mostly the same schedule as your division rivals, but outside of that it varies widely. If everyone played everyone in the NFC then sure, seed teams like they do in the NBA. But that's not feasible
