I'm seeing some very unrealistic trade options being put forward, guess that's par for the course.
You must admit that Gordon looked like the elite athlete he is yesterday. He was pretty much alone being Cleveland's offense, going 2 for 2 for 87 yards and a TD, and only playing part of the first half.
The Rams spent 5 high picks on Goff, seems little to ask to spend one on a difference making WR who may mean the difference between making the play-offs or sitting home again.
Consider this, while I have been quite pleased with most of Fisher/Snead's drafting, if there has been an area of the draft we might want back, it has to be some of those 2'nd round choices. In 5 Snisher/Rams drafts and 5 players chosen in the 2'nd, Havenstein, Joyner & Quick remain, and several of us believe Quick may be on his way out fairly soon, ... and Joyner still appears to be looking for his comfort zone.
Quick, Janoris Jenkins, Isaiah Pead, Joyner & Havenstein. Hopefully Hav breaks the spell. Point being, bringing in a guy like Gordon, albeit a bit risky, we know his ability, we would have that elusive # 1 WR we have been seeking for so long now. Coupled with Goff, ... Wow !
I'm not saying Gordon would cost us a 2'nd, but he sure might be worth it to get us to the next level. jmo.
