I'd offer the Browns a comp 3rd for Gordon and a future 6th or 7th.
Unless something changes this year i'm still in the camp that believes that the Rams are starting a #2 and a Swiss Army knife at outside WR. We're good in the slot though.

Let's remember that Gordon had Brandon Weeden, Jason Campbell and Brian Hoyer throwing passes when he was getting it done in '12 and '13.
I think there's absolutely no chance of this trade happening. I'm pretty sure everyone else here realizes that too.
I think the best time for the Rams to take a flier on Gordon has come and gone already, unfortunately.

My reaction to the above 4 posts :

:jerkoff:

Really ?, our WR corps is so exceptional that Gordon wouldn't be a huge improvement for our depth ? Fisher is known to work well with troubled players, and this guy seems to now have it behind him.

This isn't a "troubled player", this is a Manziel level knucklehead that to date can't get out of his own way. He failed tests knowing when he was going to get tested and knowing that he would get an indefinite suspension, which usually means at least one season.

He's been failing tests for years now. This goes back to college when he got suspended and didn't learn his lesson and then got kicked out of Baylor for failing too many tests. He was also caught asleep at a Taco Bell drive though with weed in the car. This is why he went undrafted and was taken in the second round of the supplemental draft. He's a knucklehead and cannot be trusted to not smoke weed.

Let's see the list of guys who have done what he has done then come back and not fuck up again.......Maybe Gordon can be the first in which case I will say good for him. But I don't want the Rams giving up a good draft pick for him because the real life odds are that he will probably crap out pretty soon.

Tremendous talent. As the saying goes million dollar talent ten cent head.

Josh Gordon is eligible to play only 12 games this season due to a four-game suspension that was handed down by the NFL this offseason. Physically, he’s one of the most talented receivers in the league. Off the field, though, there are maturity and dependability issues.
Despite his suspension and character concerns, teams across the NFL have reportedly showed interest in trading for the troubled receiver. The Cleveland Browns have shot down rumors that they’re exploring trades with VP Sashi Brown denying those reports this week.
That’s not to say they didn’t have an asking price, though.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, the Browns were looking for “a second-round pick and then some” when talking to teams about a potential deal.

Was his age a factor or what? Why wasn't he eligible for the draft? Even if he was serving a suspension in college the NFL doesn't "honor" that do they?

Just for fun I was going to post:

"Who cares look at the funbags on the blonde". But I actually am curious why he wasn't eligible.

Bleacher Report 7/12 :

"Gordon, who transferred from Baylor to Utah after being indefinitely suspended. He told the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain that a positive marijuana test was the reason for his punishment."

Wiki :

College career
Gordon accepted an athletic scholarship to play football for Baylor University. However, in October 2010, during his sophomore year, he and teammate Willie Jefferson were found asleep in a local Taco Bell drive-through lane. Police found marijuana in Jefferson's car. Jefferson, who was driving, was kicked off the team due to it being his second violation, but Gordon was only suspended.

In July 2011, Gordon was suspended indefinitely by head coach Art Briles, for later failing a drug test and testing positive for marijuana.

In August 2011, Gordon transferred to Utah, where he sat out the 2011 season declaring too late for the 2011 Supplemental Draft.

Professional career
2012 NFL Draft
Gordon was taken in the second round of the 2012 Supplementary Draft by the Cleveland Browns. On July 16, 2012, Gordon signed a four-year, $5.3 million deal with the Browns.

2012 season
Gordon finished among the top rookie receivers in the 2012 draft class. He finished with 50 catches, for 805 yards, and 5 touchdowns. Gordon scored his first career touchdown against the New York Giants, where he finished the game with 2 catches for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gordon had his first 100-yard game against the Oakland Raiders in Week 13, where he finished with 6 catches for 116 yards and 1 touchdown. Gordon had a career high of 8 catches against the Kansas City Chiefs in week 14.

2013 season
On June 7, 2013, the NFL announced that Gordon would be suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season due to violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy.[12] During Week 12, Gordon had 237 receiving yards and in Week 13, 261 yards. It marked the first time in NFL history a wide receiver had back-to-back 200-yard receiving games. On December 26, 2013, He was named the Cleveland Chapter PFWA Player of the Year following the season.

On December 27, 2013, Gordon was voted to his first Pro Bowl selection. Gordon finished the 2013 season as the NFL's leader in receiving yards, with 1,646 yards and was named First-Team All-Pro alongside Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions.

2014 season
On July 5, 2014, Gordon was arrested for driving while impaired in Raleigh, North Carolina. Due to Gordon's suspensions, he only played 5 games and caught 24 passes for 303 yards.

On August 27, 2014, Gordon acknowledged that the NFL suspended him for one year for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. On September 19, 2014, his suspension was reduced to 10 games amidst the new NFL drug policy. Gordon was officially reinstated on November 17.

On December 27, 2014, exactly one year removed from being selected into the Pro Bowl, the Browns suspended Gordon from the final game of the 2014 season due to a violation of team rules.

2015 season
Gordon was suspended for the entire 2015 season due to violating the league's substance abuse policy.

As of January 2015, Gordon faced another year-long suspension due to testing positive for alcohol use. Gordon entered the NFL's substance abuse program after pleading guilty to a driving while impaired charge in September 2014 and was prohibited from consuming alcohol during his time in the program. Gordon was officially suspended for one year on February 3, 2015 and won't be able to return until the start of the 2016 season.

2016 season
On January 20, 2016, Gordon applied to the league for reinstatement. His request was denied in March when it was reported that he'd failed another drug test.

On July 25, 2016, Gordon was reinstated by the NFL. He can participate in training camp but will be suspended for the first 4 games.

Well, they can say they want that, but there's no way they're going to get it. A 2nd round pick PLUS for a guy who wouldn't have played for over 2 years? And is an Adderall slip away from a lifetime ban?
Just wow...

That's why he went to a different school, and his list of infractions is lengthy but I don't see anything about why he wasn't eligible for the draft.

Hey everyone.............

Let's not forget that he was with Johnny Tricycle in LA when the house was trashed and there were drugs and booze all over the place. Not that many months ago.
