Every team adds players every year... Or get injured players back. I would hope you understood that, but if Jameis Winston was still the QB they don't make the playoffs.

So I assume if the Rams end up with 13 wins this yr, you will credit the OL changes, adding deep speed to the offense, and beefing up the front 7 in the draft along with a full 16 gms from Ashawn Robinson?
No. Unlike yourself perhaps, I'll credit the entire team and coaching staff. Not just the QB.

Getting rid of Winston's turnovers was a big deal. But, I can't say for certain that another quality QB couldn't have had similar success given the circumstances.

I agree - Brady was just a decent QB last year. Not a great QB and I don't even think a very good QB last year.

Both playoff games (not counting the wild card game) Brady played poorly.

Luckiest QB ever. That D completely bailed him out of his 3 2nd-half picks in the NFCC ... well them and Aaron Rodgers playing like shit.

Well, the previous QB was a big part of the points against equation with his 30 picks. In fact I think we had a pick 6 against them in 19'.

C'mon, you're better than that.

Great point! Isn’t that what happened with his last two SB wins in New England? That defense sure as heck won it against both the Seahawks & Rams (unfortunately).

Clearly you arent.
Tampa's defense was atrocious in 2019 and one of the best in 2020.
Gave up 100 less points than 19.
Very misleading. The TB defense in '19 was not as bad as the numbers indicate. Winston led the NFL in turnovers with 30 ints and also had 12 fumbles. Just absurd turnovers by him which obviously put the defense in terrible situations and made them defend against a ton of extra possessions.

30 INTs and 12 fumbles had nothing to do with points against? Plz.

And actually their D when you look at yards per play is 6th, despite that the offense kept turning the ball over and putting them back on the field.

Still gave up the 3rd most yards so they couldn't be too good

Turnovers didn't help but it appears they couldn't get the team off the field once they were on it

AND I REPEAT - I really really hate that f........

Sorry Merlin

Well the yards per play is more telling, but when a defense keeps getting put on the field and often short fields they will have more plays and will go ve up points as that formula just wears a defense down.

So at the very least they were not terrible as some have suggested.
