From what I have been seeing over the past year, Vikings fans are split on Bridgewater. Some love him and think he will be great others think we are wasting our time with him.

IMO he isn't going to be anything other than ordinary, though I have only seen him play a handful of times in sports bars while scanning the TV's.

Give that team a top 10 QB and they are NFC favorites for the SB for sure.

Well, I understand Keenum saying that because I want to move there.

Minny is a great place to live and I understand it's a great place to raise kids.

With Keenum being closer to the end of his career, I can see him wanting to stay where he might retire and be able to establish his roots while he's relatively young in life terms.

I generally like to see Case Keenum do well. It not only highlights how historically bad our scheme was in that BOTH of our QBs from last year are running 7-2 teams but in all the crap, Case Keenum was a truly stand up guy and a great veteran player.

And I still think we beat them. GO RAMS!

Teams can't find 32 high quality starting QBs.
So a guy like Case, who has certainly proven he can play in the league can have a very long career. Best thing for him is to be a highly sought after back up for a team on the cusp of winning a title. He is smart a hard worker and a good team guy. The kind of guy who ends up having a 15 year career and making $60M.

I really liked Bridgewater when he came out and wanted the Rams to draft him.
Don't know how good he will end up being. He was solid, not great, but still a lot of growth needed before he was injured. The injury is a major set back. Who knows how his mind will be when he comes back. But, damn he can throw a pretty ball.

Yup. Solid backup QBs who work hard and are good guys to have around end up getting rich from long careers. Every team needs at least one backup QB they can count on, who accepts holding a clipboard and who doesn't lose too many games when he has to play. I knew Case would leave after last season, but I would have been glad for him to stay.

The Rams had hammered the Vikings during the regular season on a Monday night by a score of 35-3, and the Vikings went into this one being forced to start Bob Lee at quarterback in place of the injured Fran Tarkenton.

I knew this loss was worse than I remembered.....and it still bothers me....there was no way we should have lost to these clowns at home....no fucking way...I remember a bunch of fumbles and stuff too.

The Rams haven't played a cold weather game. Temp in Minneapolis is 15° right now. If they open the doors it's going to be a frigid day for LA players.

Neither have the Vikes...hell, bet the doors will be closed for this one as well.
We have a defense that can play anywhere....in the parking lot if need be.

What he doesn't understand is that this team LOVES to play on fast surfaces. Our D is all about speed and don't get me started on our Offense.

We struggle at home because we play on a field that on Sundays is only marginally better than that shithole that is Washington.

Plus, even as much as I like Goff, what really makes him a stone-cold killer is that he LIKES going on the road and inserting the dagger in the opponents kitchen.

For all of his nonchalance, I think he quietly is one of the fiercest competitors we have on this team.

What people who look at us never seem to take into account is that we've installed TWO new systems, both offense and defense. The offense came along quicker, but the defense has also come on the last 4 games.

We've seen improvement so much so on defense, for example, that we've seen ZERO let down with Quinn out and imho, he was starting to really get this D.

Nothing will matter about either squad if the Vikes leave the rookie OG on Aaron Donald. And if they constantly double up on AD, you've got Brockers and our OLB corps set to feast.

I think this is a tough game, but I don't think there is a home field advantage. Not with the way McVay seems to be preparing us for road games.

If anything, I worry about tough games in the Coliseum. The rest of the way we should have a better field, but still...

I'm telling you, The Keenam pass I recall hangs in the air a LONG, LONG time. There's going to be some picks for sure.

That's always been the thing with Case. He lacks a big arm so the only way for him to get balls downfield is to put air under it, giving defenders time to recover and defend/pick off the pass. he cannot gun it down field like Sam Bradford or Jared. Neither Viking QB has Jared's finesse touch with the rock.

The Vikings have to pray for Horns' mistakes to win because we simply have too many weapons to take away when we play well. The weapons are everywhere---offense, defense, special teams. If the Norsemen shade coverage to Robert Woods, let's see if Sammy & Jared can showcase their rapport. I don't believe the Vikings have surrendered 100 yards to any runner this season---that may come to an end today as well.

Funny story. Andrew actually broke in a couple years back with the Cowboys. My brother-in-law is a HUGE Cowboy fan. So imagine how stoked he was. His nephew played for his team! He and his wife were able to go to Jerry’s World a couple times and do the VIP thing. He met a couple other players. Romo and a couple guys on defense. He was pretty excited. He’s got a few autographed items and pictures with players.

Wasn't me but I don't see how them out running Gurley today makes them anything special, they're good backups but nothing special. Congrats on the W.

You guys deserved the win. Played great. We couldn't even keep it close with Vikes having uncharacteristic FG issues for cry eye.
