You simply cannot compare how either team played in game 1 having any effect with who will win this game. That's just talking head stuff.
^^^This. They honestly can say all they want, but all thats in the past. This is the now. Quite frankly both teams had close game #1s. So unless they were sandbagging we may see the 110% from both teams this upcoming matchup.

Buccaneers beating the panthers kinda gave me anxiety. Because we let carolina hang in there and they arent that good of a team. Christian Mccafrey is good but he isnt Alvin Kamara and he went for 200 all purpose yards against us..sheesh
So many different factors from one game to the next:
Panthers v Rams
1. Pumped to play and possibly beat the NFC champions. IE we got their best game.
2. Don’t
Lowgrade McCaffrey..Dude is a stud!
3. Rams were on the road, playing east coast time before a hostile crowd. This was the Rams preseason game for the starters.
Panthers v Buccs
1. Let down after the loss to the Rams and taking the Buccs lightly because, we’ll, they suck.
2. McCaffrey didn’t have a great game. It happens.to the best RB’s.
3. The Buccs are anEast coast team and they didn’t have far to travel.

The Rams were better by the 4th quarter, and a fresh Gurley against the Panthers tired Defense was almost unfair! Our Oline was also doing better by games end. The Rams will beat the Saints.

If there’s a weakness there it’s in the middle, though. A good week for AD to do his thing.
Specifically, the Saints center, Erik McCoy is a rookie. So, for his 2nd career NFL start, 1st on the road, Erik gets to deal with Donald #99. Good luck with that McCoy!

Definately agree you gotta take week one with a grain of salt. Last year Fitzmagic. This year Lamar Jack and Gardner Minsheu. Then some of your upper tier QB's from last year looked like they were out all night coming into week one. So yeah.

Shoot, football season doesn't even really start until Thanksgiving. Everything is kind of a tune up until then.

Yeah you may be overlooking that;

1) CMC may have gotten his FF points value, however it was a hot, steamy environment...and I would “put forth the proposition” the Rams put the beat down on the guy

2) Seriously, who really couldn’t foresee that perhaps a letdown was in order considering the circumstances and short turn around vs a Divisional Rival on Thursday Night Football?

How do you sleep knowing you're gonna have to face Donald the next day?

What a mind fuck for that kid.

They may have Jared Cook this year but we have Cooper Kupp this time around, and I'll take Kupp over Cook every time.

Also, Mark Ingram is a noticeably better RB than Murray so they have a downgrade at that position. Meanwhile we have a much healthier Todd Gurley to throw at them this time around. I actually think this matchup is much more favorable to us than the last time we played them.
Hope they try that crap in L.A. sun. and it results in a TD. For Littleton.

We will have something ready to get Henderson free in space with a pass and it won't be expected as they will use Taysom some ways to challenge Wade's D . It's gonna be a Grand matchup with a RAMS win that we will NEVER forget as these are the times that belong to the New LOS ANGELES RAMS!!!. We are gonna run the ball like cray & throw all the play action we want after they think more has to be coming. Better tackling with no 100 degree heat and humidity. The field will be in GREAT shape to do as we please. Tomorrow is a day we ALL will remember in our RAM fandom for the start of this seasons CHAMPIONSHIP RIDE. It starts here 20 years after 1999 and WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Goff and our new 4some Woods,Cooks,Kupp,Higbee and our 3 headed RB corp of Brown,Gurley and Henderson. pats here we some for OUR trophyand a new banner for American Airlines Stadium. Will be some Hell of a RING OF HONOR. We ALL deserve it for being so faithfull.

Party like it's 1999 all over again. New ride begins at HOME Goff will be squared up and planting his right foot. After the running we go Play Action crazy. Big Whit handles Cam and our new pups join the party. When they score it's too little Too late. Stay Humble gang. Stay Healthy RAMS. Brockers keep that shoulder healthy. We been BLESSED and Gaines and Littleton go off. Clay is so glad he's a RAM!!!

Kamara has consistently had good play against the Rams too. Will be a huge factor. Though the swap of Ingram for Murray will be interesting to see how it balances.

"2017
5 carries for 87 yards, 1 td, 6 catches for 101 yards, 1 td

2018
19 carries for 82 yards, 2 tds, 4 catches for 34 yards, 1 td
8 carries for 15 yards, 11 catches for 96 yards

so on average, vs the rams hes:
61 rushing ypg, 5.75 average, 1 rushing td, 77 receiving ypg, 11 average, almost a receiving td per game.

so he averages 138 total ypg and almost 2 touchdowns. in 3 games vs them."

I'm not just a rams fan,but a actual football fan. So let's not give saints fans ammunition when we have our facts incorrect. Bushrod wasnt a guard, he played tackle in the superbowl as a back up and he also played backup last year before retiring this year. Their entire starting line made the pro bowl minus the newly acquired center they got from a&m and he was rated as the top 1 center in the draft. Erik McCoy is his name. They held jj watt to 0 across the board. Also speaking of that wildcat qb. They had him lined up as a wr and he caught a td. I even saw him at running back, etc. He is all over the place, but he is pretty good. Taysom was actually a heisman candidate at BYU before serious knee injuries derailed his collegiate career. Saints also have a good punt/kick returner that I wanted the rams to get from a small school and his name is deonte harris..he is fast .

This is what people tend to forget: the value in the oline. The oline is the best in the league, which is necessary to protect the most accurate passer in the league. And the weapons (thomas, cook, kamara, hill, and even murray) are certainly dangerous all around.

And Ramczyk was primarily responsible for blanking JJ. But that may have been his breakout game as an all pro. He has been incredible and is due for a pay day soon.

And Harris is very fast, but is still making some poor decisions at times (last week, the decision to wave for fair catch and run). But if he settles down, could be a huge X factor.

Good luck indeed Sir

Not even jokingly do I wish him luck. I wish him a confidence shattering day, where not only is he beaten like a drum today, but that it carries over to the rest of the season, helping the Saints to an 8-8 record for the season so that they miss the playoffs but also get a mediocre draft pick in 2020.
