Just as an example

9th inning - team leading by one run

Two on two out - ball hit to fielder - goes thru his legs and two runs score and you lose the game

There are many similar situations where one error just changes the entire outcome of a game.

Or you could be Alec Burleson and drop an easy fly ball in the bottom of the ninth. ...Yes, that happened against the Marlins on Wednesday.
It's an old person sport. You aren't old enough yet lol

Whatever, gramps.

I think that, by combining otherwise boring sports, we can make them more interesting.

I, for one, would be very interested in watching the Ski Jumping vs. Skeet Shooting event.

Yeah, it’s so boring and nothing going on for 3 hours - nothing else for you to do but think about things
It’s what my wife and I used to watch to fall asleep on the couch on Sunday mornings before we had kids. There’s another use for it.

If baseball is so exciting, why do they tell men to think about it to prevent climaxing?

Now golf? That's boring, especially the announcers saying, "Can we be a little more quiet? I want to hear the grass grow."
Agreed. The announcers are awful and the games are normally tape delayed. Years ago I worked a PGA tournament. That was actually pretty interesting. To hear that ball take off like a rocket ship and to chatter with the caddies and crew was awesome. Also the fans were really into it as well.

I recommend going live once to see if you enjoy it.

Both sports are great for different reasons. See George Carlin for the differences.

I just love Robin Williams' skit about golf. It's fucking brilliant and speaks to me on a personal level. I love his suggestion: use the Spanish soccer announcers for golf, just one time. Tell them to go all out. I'd pay to listen to that.

The Majors were fantastic when Tiger and Phil were in their primes.
Phil all the way.
Golf can be intense at times.
The World Series when the D backs had Randy Johnson vs the Yankee's was also very intense.
Golf is a fantastic game you can not master.
Not like Bowling where you can bowl a 300 game.
You can not Eagle every hole in golf.
And you can play it when you are old.

Attention. Do I have your attention?
Interest. Are you interested? I know you are because it’s fuck or walk. You close or you hit the bricks!

I disagree. Errors can really turn a game around in baseball.

But it really depends when it happens just not as often as in football.

The only time a turnover in football doesn't drastically affect a game is when a desperation pass is intercepted on 4th down or a 3rd down pass is intercepted 40 yards or more downfield (basically a punt).

Errors happen in football too that can lead to losses.

But here are the stats for Turnovers...

NFL win percentage by TO margin since 2005...

T.O. Differential........... Records..............................Win %
+1.................................... 888-410-5........................... 68.4
+2.................................... 699-150 .............................. 82.3
+3.................................... 372-35-1 ............................ 91.4
+4.................................... 285-8-1 ............................. 97.3

I'd like to add a side note here that really pulls back the curtain on the cheating pieces of shit in New England.

Many in the media and others try to poo poo the Deflate Gate cheating that was proven to have been going on in New England. Acting as if the deflated balls really had no effect whatsoever on winning. Doing their best damage control to cover it up despite the suspensions, fines, and draft pick penalties that were given to the cheating pieces of shit.

Well, refer to the TO Differential Win % chart I posted above and think about how just 1 TO being prevented per game dramatically increases your win %.

In the bitter cold up there during the end of the season and especially the playoffs...

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to grip and hold on to - resulting in much fewer fumbles? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to grip and throw with more accuracy - resulting in fewer interceptions and more completions? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is much easier to catch (especially in cold weather)? - resulting in fewer interceptions and more completions? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think that an under inflated ball is easier to grip and snap perfectly by the center (especially in cold weather)? - resulting in fewer turnovers and bad snaps? YES is the fucking answer.

Do you think an under inflated ball is easier for a kicker to kick properly? - resulting in an increase in made fieldgoal percentage? YES is the fucking answer.

Well guess you what peoples.... the cheatriots had the lowest turnover percentage of all teams when they were deflating the balls. Belicheat knows the Supreme importance of turnover differential and this was the way that he manipulated/cheated the games to create a gigantic unfair advantage for his team.

Even though I see your point, IMO that equates more to a dropped TD pass or missed tackle at the end of the game than a turnover. A turnover would be more akin to telling a team they don't get to bat for an entire inning.

Now as to these neanderthals saying there's no excitement or strategy in baseball? GTFO. Sure. Some games are boring. But the vast majority are pretty damn exciting and full of win or lose decisions, position shifts, bang bang plays, amazing catches, clutch hits, disappointing turns, etc...

People who don't get baseball just have short attention spans. Yeah... I said it.
