It's why I feel sorry for their new HC. Gonna be a fun baptism by fire for him I think.

This article made me loathe Rodgers. I hope - for the sake of LaFleur and the Packers - that Rodgers can be just a little less of a douche. I'm not going to hold my breath, though.

Rodgers is too big for any coach. Maybe if they bring Parcells back, Rodgers would be reigned in.

Hope McVay never gets into that rigid mindset where he refuses to adapt when it fails like McCarthy did. It's a noticeable pattern in one, sometimes two games but Sean's made excellent adjustments with his personnel so far.

Actually, he got beaten by the same defense three times. I had hoped McVay had a plan in place if the Patriots changed things up and switched to the same defensive plan that the Bears and Eagles used against the Rams. I kept waiting for McVay's answers, but it never happened.

I hope he considers it a valuable lesson learned.

Gonna read now, but I am already of the mind that ARod is a twat waffle.....

Well I don't know. Next season will be a huge test. Teams do have a blueprint to slow down our offense. Even being a mediocre defense (Like the lions, Packers and Pats) really slowed down our Offense. He didn't adjust in any of those games, and I get having a game plan but sometimes you have to toss it and go with whats working. 11 personnel wasn't the answer in the SB.

Whatever each of us may feel about Rodgers I think we can all agree that we're glad he didn't go to the Whiners.

I don’t know ....
If he was in a 49ers uniform it would have made it easier from the start to identify Aaron Rodgers as a narcissistic prick he is.

And it would just give us all the more reason to hate the 49ers.

But instead with him in Green and Gold we’ve been sorta misled to believe he was a good guy - with dudes like Bart Star, the Majik man, and even Favre who came before in Packers colors - plus all those commercials for insurance where he comes off all chummy with that belt buckle bullshit he did

Anyway the dude would have fit right into the 49er’s and their Satanic ways

All I gotta say is 2019 is a huge year for Rodgers - he better win or people will turn on him

* The thing I have found with narcissists is people will only deal with them as long as they are successful and those around them can benefit financially or socially — but as soon as they slip up or go on a bad streak of luck watch everyone abandon them and turn on him. It happens to these freaks all the time. That never happens to the cool dude who during hard times people rally around. No way. People abandon them he first chance they sense sustained weakness, and loss of allure. I would say Rodgers needs to get along with LaFluer or his goose is cooked.

On a side note: any of you see the Bachelor show? My wife watched some season when Aaron Rodgers brother was a contenstant and there had been some falling out with the family and they were estranged. So i assumed it was their money grubbing parents who maybe tried to take advantage of poor ol’ Aaron cause i was conditioned to think he was a great guy with all those fun insurance ads and all — but when they showed the parents they were totally cool people - salt of the Earth. Who knows what the beef is between Rodgers and his family, but I’m starting to get the sense it’s him. Dude thinks he’s the shit - and i guess he is. But he better keep that team on top or he’ll be playing in Buffalo one day without the farewell tour

Anyway - Rodgers sucks balls

Yep & Matt Lafleur a decent OC. Gave Mcvay a different perspective.

I don't necessarily agree, but I followed the Redskins while McVay was there, and some of these tendencies go way back.... Hope he's doing that "self-scouting" over the offseason.

Yeah, I don't know. Lot of people talking about McCarthy and Rodgers, but this writer never bothers to talk with McCarthy or Rodgers. Two sides to a story, after all.

Never a mystery to me why the Packers didn't win more. Couldn't keep the core of their talent together, and fielding mostly mediocre defenses.

I'm with you on the two sides of every story. It's being rumord that teams might not even be interested in McCarthy going foward. That might be the more telling of who's to blame in my opinion.

One thing is certain. Wether you like Rodgers or not he proved he was pretty much the only reason they were contender's most years.

The rookie wideouts, man, they were screwed. Seriously, Rodgers ruined people's football careers and personal lives just to prove a "my way or the highway" point. Who does that? He can't see the big picture. To not throw the ball to a wide open rookie because he ran a route called by his coach, it's mental illness.

Aaron Rodgers is a prick. That has been more or less known for a few years. When enough of your former teammates dislike you enough to trash you to the media, it means you're a prick. Think about how many QBs have multiple former teammates go to the media about what jerks they are. It's not a long list. But Rodgers and Big Ben are prominent names on it.
