I can't find anything with a quick search that other players went on record with anything.

I think this is a story that got created by two people, and the author spun their opinions into this piece that lacks any credibility.

I've never understood the narrative that he is an asshole. I've never seen or heard of him doing anything negative. Even when the rumors were swirling that he was gay he stayed low key.
