Juat heard bucky brooks say L. Fournette is on the trading block and could be had for a 5rh or 6 rh. Id offer a 6th at least since we dont have a 5th.

Not without a better OL he ain't...he's got a quick burst into the secondary, but he's got to get there first!
Wow this is my first time seeing his highlights. He did better than I thought. With a full TC under his belt and get the OL back in order along with a new RB coach and he and Brown could do some damage. Get OL fixed = gets the running game back = passing game more effective = less pressure on Goff = Goff stays healthy = offense scores points/sustains drives = less stress on defense. Get the OL fixed and Henderson should succeed. It's a domino effect.

I'd give a 6th for him depending on the $ and how long the contract is for. If it's a two year then we won't have to draft a RB this year but we will next year. If it's just a 1 year then we lose both him and Brown after this year so we'll have to draft a RB this year to be ready behind Henderson next year. Honestly I'd rather just draft a guy. The year or two rentals are getting old especially when they don't live up to expectations. Just my opinion.

Henderson is good enough to be the primary ball carrier in the shared backfield with Brown. We have much more dire needs so we can’t really afford to not give him his shot.

Our biggest needs in order would be: LB, C, EDGE, OT, IOL, CB, WR, RB, QB

Doesnt matter who you have rushing if your OL is a weak combination of undrafted stop-gaps, injury prone liabilities, and deteriorating veterans on the verge of retirement. It starts in the trenches...

It's Cap vs trade when thinking about Fournette. I think he'd be a good fit with the Rams. Is he worth making more cap space for without having drafted a player they are overt the cap?

When the rumor of a Jags player floats you can almost guarantee that play is done with their organization.

No thanks. Fournette is a bust, and I'd rather just draft a younger, cheaper running back.

Jared Goff says Darrell Henderson 'can be dangerous' in Rams offense

Replacing Todd Gurley, a two-time All-Pro and the 2018 Offensive Player of the Year, won’t be easy for the Los Angeles Rams, but they do have a running back on the roster who’s been described by multiple teammates as being “special.” Darrell Henderson Jr. has received some high praise this offseason, first from Andrew Whitworth and most recently by Jared Goff.

Whitworth called him a “special talent” recently when asked about Henderson’s potential, and on a video conference call with reporters Wednesday, Goff echoed that sentiment. He’s excited about Henderson’s potential in the Rams’ offense, saying he can be dangerous.

“I think Darrell is a special talent. He’s a special player, a special talent and he can be dangerous,” Goff said. “I think he’s fast, he’s athletic, he can catch extremely well. He’s got the ability, as time goes on, a top guy. We’re going to have to wait and see but he’s got everything you want. He’s smart, he’s fast, he’s agile. He can do everything.”

Goff is used to playing with a running back who can do everything, having spent the last four years with Gurley lined up behind him. Gurley was arguably the best running back in the NFL at his peak, as evidenced by him being selected as a first-team All-Pro in 2017 and 2018.

He was elusive in the open field, a reliable receiver and had a nose for the end zone while with the Rams, and Goff had a front-row seat for it all. It’s hard to expect Henderson to go from being a backup as a rookie to a star in Year 2, but Goff seems to have high hopes for the Memphis product – as do a lot of people in Los Angeles.

Last season, Henderson rushed for 147 yards on 39 carries and caught four passes for another 37 yards in 13 games played.

I have to disagree here Momento. Respectfully, of course.
I don't see LF as a bust at all. Injury prone? Sure.
But if we can get 2 years out of him for a 6th, I'm buying. Even if it's only 12 games a year

He will cost $4.1Mil this year and it was posted around $10Mil for the fifth-year option. He would be an expensive two-year player. He would probably want a long term deal and could be a disruption to the team. He also takes away from getting Henderson his opportunity.

Crazy to think The Rams won’t draft a RB early. I’ve heard a Draftnik talking about a RB from Maryland that has speed & size. I like A.Dillion from BC.
I’d actually looked to drafting say the RB from Ohio St & BC as even a possible FB/RB. Solid depth that way.
I know Les won’t do it.

Thank you. I wasn't sure on the cost of his 5th year
