Ok guys - Just managed to watch the game. WOW. Just WOW.

But, what did you learn from the game? He's mine, from the first viewing, I will have to watch the game again though, it was a great matchup.

Goff: Again I'm starting with our QB. I don't think I've seen him play better. His passing was to perfection, when there was nothing on, he threw away the pass which is something he hasn't done to date this year, which I think is the right move :) If he carries on like this it's going to be between him and Gurley for Offensive MVP.

Oline: The consistency is amazing, the protection amazing, the amount of security they're giving Goff - I'm in awe!

WRs: I don't want to highlight any one of them, because these guys are precision route runners, with damn sticky hands, I almost feel guilty that we have 3 guys that can deliver!

Everett: I think it was Everett in the Endzone on that missed pass, why didn't he try and catch that damn ball!!!

Red zone production: This still needs to be improved IMO.

Ficken: You can't ficken miss >30yd FGs, this game came down to a 7 pt win for the Rams if it wasn't for that strip sack by JFM we could have been level taking us to OT. I don't want to go into OT and lose on a fluke TD, and I'm nervous about relying on this guy in close game situations...

Dline: That's more like it, even more pressure, Donald looked a lot sharper and quicker tonight too.

Peters: Wasn't himself, I don't think that calf was fully healed, guy seemed to lose a step, then again the Vickings WRs are the real deal, and I think the best that the Rams will come up against this season.

Ebukam: Seems to be getting better, he's half a step from becoming a threat in this D.

Hekker: Shanked that last punt, cut him

McVay: The man is having so much fun, loving his enthusiasm, and play calling, it really is a thing of beauty.

Goff was insane. I have nothing to add.

Cooks is even more than I thought. He’s smaller than I’d like, but that’s part of his game. Dude knows how to get open and has amazing hands.

Peters is ONE TOUGH DUDE. I still can’t believe he played. I probably said that to myself 5x throughout the game.

The offensive line is our silent weapon and just might be the best I’ve seen as a unit. Those guys have been amazing.

Ficken has been okay, but I worry a miss at the wrong time at some point. Get well GZ.

As an undersized player for my chosen position, I can appreciate what he does, he definitely uses his (lack of) size to his benefit, but his athleticism is off-the scale crazy good.

ill tell you what i learnt

this offense is unstoppable . going back to week 1 we have so many ways to beat you
run Gurley and operate the play action
jet sweep and cause confusion
straight up beat you mean on man in the passing game in a shootout
and im sure there a few more wrinkles up Mcvays sleeve

and thats without taking special teams and the defense into account. i never try to be cocky because i've hated that in other fanbases and loved when we punched them in mouth (like we played the seahawks every game under fisher) but man we are seriously good

You have to have an offense that can win these shootouts and tonight the Rams showed that they do.

I learned that our oline is the real engine for this team. I am not downplaying the great performance by the entire offense, but the oline's protection was key last night.

Goff had all night to survey the field and the protection allowed for the WRs more time to get open. Deadly combination for opposing defenses.

Great team effort and great plays by so many, but it starts up front and the oline is executing.

I learned
Ok guys - Just managed to watch the game. WOW. Just WOW.

@shaunpinney, I learned that this 2018 Rams squad might end up being one of the all time memorable NFL teams to ever step on a professional football field.

I could be wrong because 4 games (chapters) is never a sure thing of how the story will end..

We all know the 2018 Rams have some chinks in their armor but this team is not a finished product and has plenty of games left to improve on some of their weaknesses .

If they stay on their current course, this Rams team has a realistic chance to end up being one of greatest single season teams in NFL history.

As I continue to :yay:for joy & my brain is :dizzy:from last nights great perfrommance by this Ram offense....

I still a have a  feeling about last nights perfromance by the Rams defense. Disdisapointing is what I have to say here. I was frustrated & baffled by what I was seeing.

I know we had 1 new ex all pro CB, few replacements (Longacre/Wilosn) & 1 damaged all pro CB playing in Wade Defense last night but it seems to me they should be far better than what we saw last night. Guess I am expecting too much?

Tackling was poor. How many hits did we see when we did tackle? Best tackle was the throw down by AD of Kirk. Our Franchized 2018 defensive player deep safety Lamarcus Joyner continues to be late on each & every play or worse nowhere in site for any pass play, not what we saw from him last season.

There is much to be improved here. The last series of the game when the Defense woke up is what we should have seen from the start. This Rams defense is full of talented prime aged seasoned players.

ST's was the weakest I have seen in a long long time...Our punter was average. Our Kicker failed, & without Cooper & Jo Jo our all returns are so plain, dull safety contolled plays. Wow how things have changed from 2017.

Vikings have a good offense also and defense play well when we really need it. I'm not worried, it's the beginning of the season and if they can improve when we are already 4-0, everything is fine for us.

Offense was covered by others above. I don't know that I learned so much as confirmed the defense still needs some work in order to go up against playoff caliber teams. I will say that Peters at 70% is much better than a lot of other corners at 100%

However....The defense obviously has talent and to me it's more about the young LB'ers needing to learn and then implement the subtleties of playing at the Pro level. As is often said....in high school and college these guys got by on sheer talent. In the NFL it's all about technique because everybody has talent. I also think that Barron will help steady the ship. Sure would be nice to see him back by the Green Bay game.

....oh and if they actually improve on what's been highlighted while we sit here at 4-0....this team will be freakin' scary by December and January.

What I learned is that it will be sooner rather than later that Goff will be considered the top QB in the NFL

I am certain this defense is capable of great improvement no question about that. There is so much talent available.

One upgrade improvement Wade might look at is getting Suh moved outside more often. Both his sacks (thus far) have come when Suh was moved from the NT post & placed on the outside right side of the DL. Brockers lines up in Suh NT post.

One positive large improvement in this 2018 D from the 2017 is the center middle run defense. So not all is bad here.
