I learned:

The jet sweeps are going to be a staple of the offense and they could come from anywhere with anyone running them.

Cooks is going to get deep looks - lots of them - and so is Woods. The bomb will be a thing.

Gurley is running angry on each and every carry.

Our O line looks exceptional in pass protection (granted, the Raiders cupboard was bare)

We don’t need to blitz - we get plenty of heat bringing only 4.

McVay is the best coach in the league and I love him very much.

Hekker is still a weapon out there.

McVay is playing the long game.

Opponents are going to be pulling all nighters on a regular basis.

Johnny Hecker is really, really good. But I already knew that...

Wade Phillips knows his players.

Rams best offense goes through Gurley. When he gets going the rest of the offense opens up.

Rams OL and DL are top notch.

Coaching staff makes halftime adjustments.

Rams get better as game goes on. Thank you Ted Rath.

This is basically a pre-season practice for the Rams for the first unit. As the season progresses, the Rams Offense & Defense will sharpen and running on all cylinders.

You will notice that teams will incorporate some trick plays, i.e. Philly, Philly or some variant when they play the Rams later during the season because playoff spots and rankings are at stake.

Yep with our corners and our dline were going to see a whole lot of dinking and dunking to TEs and RBs this year.

Yeah chucky said that's what our coverage dictated to them... but we know that's not the entire story..

It's mostly WHO is covering that is making them gameplan another direction.

TST guy up on the cross again about Goff playing porrly

Apparently, he didn't watch too many QBs play this weekend since he's shredding Goff for 18-33-2 TD 0 pick game

That, apparently, it's OK to hold Aaron Donald every play without flags, and even the announcers will look past it. There was a bit in the 4th quarter where they were showing the offensive lineman predominately tasked with defending Donald and how he had been faring. They showed three clips, and in ALL THREE of them, he was blatantly holding. And not the usual "oh, it's a little tug", I mean full on grappling. Refs didn't call a one. If those were the guy's highlights, what were his lowlights?

Our lines (both of them) are fecking amazing.

Woods either needs to get a hundredth of a second faster, or Goff's arm needs to get .001% weaker. I lost count how many times the ball was juuuust past his fingers.

Our linebacker situation isn't good. Also, somebody should notify our back 8 that the tight end is also a player that needs to be accounted for.

This is a team that can win on talent alone. I don't know that yesterday's game was called well (especially the 4th quarter where we fell into the trap of passing on every play when we had a lead), but playmakers make plays when it matters most, and it showed yesterday.

This game pretty much went exactly like I expected. I figured a half of rust followed by putting the foot on the gas. I predicted in the score thread 31-10. The first half was basically our starters pre-season. Even though he may not say it, I think Sean planned it so. Now if we would have played a Minnesota in week 1 I bet the starters would have seen some preseason action. I think if Barron was playing Cook wouldn't have had the game he had. Haven't checked the injury report yet, just re-watched the game. Hope Cooper is OK. Also in the 4th I saw Kupp slow to get up...hopefully nothing. All in all excellent job Rams!

This team is good, SuperBowl winner good.

Goff is better this year than last year. Although he didn't officially connect on any of those deep balls you could see that once he has a better feel for his receivers he will. What's more important is that Goff's footwork is brilliant, his delivery perfect and his instincts are ruthless. He's taking shots, trusting his WR and RB's (that pass to RB2!) and leaving nothing on the field... He's also throwing the ball on a ROPE despite having small hands. :rolllaugh:

The defense is ridiculous. Gruden and Co. feared our perimeter players and I imagine that will be the theme all season long.

And although the Raiders offense played well the first half, no team is going to beat us with the dink and dunk because they will not be able to keep up with our offense.

All in all... I love my Rams and my Ramly!

That Littleton can be effective at MLBer although during the 1st half he looked a little shaky. He came on strong in the second half to led the team in tackles along with an interception.
