But the Head Coach is gonna take the fall? That just amazes me, and going off on a tangent here BOB in Houston is still employed? Jerk of a coach that can't stick with his QB?

FWIW's both O'Brien & Pagano before this season have not had losing records, Pagano in 5 years and O'Brien with three although Pagano only coached four games in his first year. IMO, both will be in serious trouble as the Texans & the Colts I thought would struggle this year and O'Brien has done nothing to fix the Quarterback situation and totally whiffed on Brock Osweiler.

The difference is that the new GM Ballard, will want his own guy, but I would not be shocked if the right college came along (Notre Dame) that O'Brien might leave Houston. Overall, there are always coaching changes and IMO the Cots, Jets & even the Texans could have new Head Coaches next season.

Here in lies the difference between the two coaches:

Chuck Pagano: All the FO incompetence as I already previously talked about.

BOB: You are right he hasn't done nothing (until taking Deshaun Watson) to fix the QB. It's not about whiffing on Brock. I don't believe Brock is that bad. It's BOB's attitude toward his QBs. He benches them at the first sign of adversity, not letting anything play out. I.E., benching Brian Hoyer for Ryan freakin Mallett after a close game (against the Colts, of all time).

And it played out yesterday, benching Tom Savage after the half. It clearly wasn't all the QBs fault.

He didn't get along with Brock. It was reported that the two would argue...moreso than the standard. Meanwhile, Rick Smith has given BOB so many talented players and for what? This team could be so much better.

Here is an excellent article about BOB, for your reading leisure: https://sports.yahoo.com/bill-obriens-inability-stick-qb-ruining-rep-wrecking-texans-231352311.html

Houston/Indy are in the same situation but how they got here is completely different. I would be Chuck Pagano would make this Houston team a contender.

Very good points, but you could make the same debate about O'Brien making the Colts a contender and I would hire O'Brien over Pagano although both men have suffered similar fates. I don't put much on the front office gaffes in Indianapolis, alhough they have had more miscues then Houston, but Pagano has been blessed with a top tier QB and Houston has not, for whatever reason.

IMHO the Indianapolis defense has been far worse than the Houston offense and that lies at the feet of Chuck Pagano and for some reason, Pagano could not attract a high profile DC, however, current DC Ted Monachino was Linebacker coach of a good defense and might be the best Pagano has had there.

Overall both teams are in trouble, but I'm betting on O'Brien getting an opportunity to be a Head Coach again, whereas Pagano might end up with his good friend Bruce Arians in Ariazona...Again taking nothing away from Chuck Pagano because I believe he's a quality individual and he gave Arians a chance, when he was sent to the scrape heap after being let go in Pittsburgh, but in the end the Colts will make a coaching change and they will either keep Chudzinski or hire somebody like Mike Smith and be in the boat all over again.
