They're not in a good cap space either. They've only got 29 people signed for next year. If Palmer sticks around they only have $26 million in space, him retiring before the 5th day of league year frees up another $14 million but obviously leaves them without a starting QB. Not a team built for the future at all it might be a long bad rebuild.

Edit: Compared to the Rams who have 39 signed through next year with $50 million in cap space (this site doesn't account for Ogletree's extension yet FYI). So really it's 40 signed with $37ish million with the details of his extension unknown.
