The soon-to-be Deadbirds should know that well. If we were playing under the old OT rules, they would have lost to San Francisco (SF kicked a FG on their first OT drive; Arizona drove down and scored a TD for the win).

It will probably take a 300 yd, 3 TD performance from CP to beat the Rams on Sunday in the cold dampness of London town. Do you think he will be a Stud or Dud?

At his age he is a statue in the pocket, and very vulnerable to an Aaron Donald busting up the middle (and the pocket), forcing Palmer to move somewhere. No, actually both Carson and Peterson's performance depend on the oline and tight ends blocking.
Rewatch the game last week, peterson actually had some running lanes, those were very few and far between in previous weeks.
The play calling actually completely depends on the blocking as well. The biggest offensive genius in the world can only be slightly successful if his line can't run block, and can't pass block for more than 2 or 3 seconds.

I hear you, but that was Aaron Donald's second game after being away from the team and the defensive scheme all offseason...He was not winning one-on-one contests vs the Skins (Rams loss) and was getting better vs the Niners, but not fully to form as he is now. The Cardinals were just outplayed from start to finish.

The Arizona Cardinals dropped their fourth game of the season. From the opening whistle to the final tick of the clock, the team was outplayed and outcoached in every aspect of the game.
The offense opened the game with a nice drive. They had a chance to score points, but Phil Dawson missed his fourth kick of the season. From there on out it was all Rams. Offensively the Cardinals could not find any sort of rhythm. Carson Palmer would finish his night 10/22 no touchdowns, and a pick before being forced out of the game with a left arm injury.
Drew Stanton proved to have zero effect, throwing a pick on his second drive of the game. Adrian Peterson was ineffective as well, posting 11 carries for 21 yards.
The Cardinals defense allowed nearly 200 yards on the ground and allowed their first 100-yard rusher since Todd Gurley in 2016. They were on the field far too often, but they were outcoached by Sean McVay and outsmarted by Jared Goff at the line of scrimmage.
A third-quarter interception by Deone Bucannon gave a little life to the offense, but two Gresham penalties killed the Cardinals shot to score points.
The game ended with a 33-0 final score. The Cardinals first shutout in the Keim-Arians era.
