The Bills have plenty of weaknesses.

1. Unproved CB (just because they have good safeties doesn't mean they can stop Robinson or Kupp)
2. Rookie OC (who has never called plays and seems indecision from what I read into his pressers)
3. Lack of a pass rush (There is a reason they paid that much money to Von.)
4. Allen is a wildcard (you never know if he's Dr. Jeckle or Mr. Hide)
5. Lack of WR depth (If JR takes away Diggs, then what do they do?)
6. Lack of a run game
7. Haven't won a big game.

Bills fans are best fans in the NFL. I’ve been treated to many a beer snd brat by them the couple of Buffalo games I went to. With that said The Bills RB are average unless the rookie is a stud. Also the DBs were very suspect in the playoffs. Love Gabe Davis, Josh Allen and Dawson Knox on your roster.

Tre White missed the playoffs due to injury, unfortunately. And Levi Wallace was cut (the dude who pretty much let the Chiefs come back in 13 seconds). Levi Wallace was signed by The Steelers and couldn't even win a starting spot. So yeah - our secondary was god awful in the playoffs last year! Could be the same tonight

Bills fan here. Speaking on behalf of all Bills fans - we are confident in almost every aspect of our team except for Elam (rookie CB). Dane Jackson and Taron Johnson are studs. Missing Tre White is huge. Stafford will pick on the rookie all night long.

Welcome, I appreciate Bills fans... most I meet are dedicated and passionate but respectful and you guys hate the Patriots as much as we do so cheers. Honestly I can see the game tonight going either way. First game of the season can be a crapshoot at times and both teams have a lot of talent. McVay has historically had his teams ready to play well right out of the gate and is 5-0 because of it on week 1 games so that gives me some confidence. Turnover battle, as always, will be key.

I like to browse opposing fans forums. I don't participate in the discussion but I do read their comments. I will say this, while most Bills fans are confident, they don't seem as cocky as some teams fans. Most seem to approach this game as cautiously optimistic.

I guess I can't blame them for being confident. The media has made them this year's darlings of the league. But that can be a jinx. I remember Garoppolo's first full season with the 49ers. They were the media's team that year. Then Garoppolo goes down for the season and they finish last.

Then it was the Browns. They proceed to go 6-10. They made the playoffs the next year when the media moved on from them.

For consecutive years it was the Cardinals and Kyler Murray. First year they finish 8-8 fizzling down the stretch. Second year they make the playoffs but fizzle down the stretch again finishing 1-5 and an embarrassing performance by Murray in their only playoff game.

The media sure seems to bring bad luck when they adopt a team as their darlings of the year.

I stay away from 9er games in LA because of that. Granted, everyone across the country is willing to take vacay time and spend their vacay money to come to LA. Not as many will do the same going to buffalo.
