Feels like he deserves his own thread. Guy has had a rough road in the NFL, some time to sample the difficulties of real life, and hopefully he's ready to make the most of this opportunity when his number is called. Glad to have you aboard even if you do look like Prince Harry.

Merlin, why did I never notice the resemblance until you just pointed it out? Dead on.

Before the Goff/Wentz debate was the Bradford/Suh slugfest.
And that came around to the Rams ending up with Suh, and making the Superbowl
Hmmm.... History repeats? Lol

I think it's just bad lighting but he looks like he's aged 10 years since last time I saw him. But all the luck to him as long as he is wearing the horns.

Not a great cap choice either ... old dad cap. :laugh4:

Hope he’s not susceptible to gold diggers like Prince Harry.

We finally have a legit backup this year. I'm assuming it's a one year kick the tires deal. Good to get familiar with McVay and the offense.

Wentz has a career passer rating of 89.3

Stafford’s is 90.6 (94.0 since he came to LA).

There isn’t a massive difference between them.

There isn’t a massive difference between them.

Those Ratings are based on specific stats ... most notably TDs and Interceptions per pass attempts, yards per pass attempts and completion percentage; and, You Are Correct, there is Not much Difference in the Numbers.

However, I have to push-back here. It's kind of like when posters provide good PFF stats on Derion Kendrick.
I just don't see it. The guy just sucks in my opinion. That jumps off the screen when I watch him play.

I respect your opinion, and acknowledge the career numbers. However, age and injuries aside, I see Stafford as clearly a better NFL Quarterback than Wentz.

Whilst I agree that there’s more to player assessment than stats alone, QBR is widely accepted as one of the best tools for measuring quarterbacks’ performance.

Stafford’s was 89.9 at Detroit and improved when he joined the Rams; maybe, just maybe, Wentz can do the same if he plays.

By who? Es "running qbs" pn?

Btw, they were the passer ratings. Something a qb needs to be able to master.
