Bad : Marcus Peters and GZ coulda cost us at the end with a stupid penalty and the kids
The ugly : slow disjointed start by the O but should get better by next week

Goff was a little off, for sure.

I was impressed with Noteboom especially, he was plowing guys like a broke John Holmes.

The offenses timing is off. I think we all expected that a bit. I just can not get on board with starters not playing AT ALL in preseason. I’m all for limited, but they need live action practice a bit.

It's early but there are some pretty good players out there available probably take minimum. To fill inside backer and dt tackle not to mention a couple of decent offensive lineman still available ....not panicked but can't hurt.

Hate to say it but Goff was ugliest. Very off, not a little.

Good: Littleton, Hekker, Gurley and Brown
Bad: Goff, Wades zone coverage, punt protection, McVay not going for it on 4th and win, worked out in the end but didn't like it with how gurley was balling. Front 3 on defense, did they do anything today?
Ugly: Jojo, Peters dumb penalty

the good: we won
the bad: on the east coast
the ugly: at 11am kick off

Some rust. Nothing shocking. Rams look like a team that will continue to claim its place as a conference champ and repeat SB contender.

My big worry going in were Boom and Allen--I didn't focus on them, but apparently they're good to go!

Looks like this might be year 3 in a row of being helpless against the run. Or is McCaffery that good?

Good - Littleton, Fowler, Gurly, Brown, Wrs looked good overall, same with OL.
Bad - STs, loose coverage on DBs
Ugly - Rams Tackling

I disagree regarding Goff. He was fine and the rust will come off next week.

We could have lost this game, but Goff drove down on two important late 4th quarter series. One was a TD other should have netted us 3.

Can't make this many mistakes against NO. The difference is Brees will make most of those throws.

The Bad: McVay. He shouldn't have rested himself during the preseason. His calls at times were shaky. Very rusty!

I don't know guys, an opening week win, on the road, in a tough place to play, against a team with a good D and a strong running game. I will take it.

Even with the O "Out of Sync" we still put up 30 (Would have been 33 if GZ Didn't miss), and we ran for 166 yards against a very good front seven.

You won't hear me complaining. Not while we are on the 1-0 Train.

Just rewatching the highlights, I have no idea what Goff was looking at. He had receivers wide open at least 4 times and decided to go somewhere else. Kupp once for a touchdown and the other for an intermediate gain. Cooks once and Gurley once. And those were just the highlights. McVay called a good game. Goff didn’t execute.

If he’s going to shed the system QB moniker, he needs to at least be that. I’m disappointed in what I saw from him. That said, he’s proven to improve time and time again. I doubt he just isn’t good anymore. But he needs a big game against the Saints to start changing minds.

If guys are running wide open we just need him to hit them.

I'm the biggest Goff fan but he was off this game.

His accuracy was mostly good and he was nails when it counted at the end.

But his vision was off during the game, wasn't seeing the open guy many times.

I expect him back at it next week.

Agree with you 100%, hoping its lack of playing(rust) or trying to hard because of the contract extension. Whatever it is he needs to snap out of it. I want to destroy the Saints. God I hate Payton

A few times for sure, but if he is rolling to his right, I don't want him throwing across the entire field to Gurley in the left flat, as Moose was suggesting, during the broadcast. That is a recipe for a quick Pick-6

He was rusty, but I will take a rusty offense Week 1 over injured starters, especially when 'Rusty' is 30 points.

Enjoy the win fellas!!!

Yeah, I’m not on board with calling Goff the Bad or the Ugly.

Punt block was Ugly.

Peters and Run D were the Bad.
