Lions defense reminds me of the Rams days when they let backup RB's have career days. DB's make nice tackles after a 25 yard completion.

Rams couldn't afford to retain him(or they would have) and we have a starter in Higs. That's been my take on it.

Their D looks very strong. Jones has 3 sacks, TEN can't run and Watt has been disruptive.

had some early jitters, seems to have gotten over them

So far Lions offense looks capable and their defense looks as awful as always. They tailored the offense to Goff's strengths so far. But they don't have a lot past Hockenson so will be curious what happens when defenses start doubling him or putting their best guy on him.
