Bengals rookie kicker wins it in OT. Yay!

Close call on the Viking fumble to give Cincy the ball near midfield but replays inconclusive.

That's pretty fucking pathetic, the Whiners D gave up 33 to Goff and the worst collection of offensive skilled position players in the entire NFL.
Goff is better than you think. He just needed an offensive line. Just wished he would come play the game in the first half. Sheesh he has played poorly in the first half lately.

I like the Bengals black and white uni's, they need to have a black and white helmet to go with it, white bengal tiger look would be sick.
That helmet would look good but their colors are too Halloweenish for me

I'm liking the Bengals' new look. Didn't like them the past several years.

Would be cool to see them take the division, or at least battle it out w/Browns.

I'm not one of the people that first part applies to.

Yeah secondary depth ruined them last year too. They have some real studs on that roster but if Varett is out for any length of time the rest of this division will roast them.

Verrett looked done for the year. His reaction was the sort from an oft-injured guy who knew he just suffered another serious injury.

Anyone else see that? He was lighting Okudahs ass up on the sideline. He was mad as fuck. Almost looked like he was about to throw hands lol. Loved it.

Okudah ain't no Jalen Ramsey lol

Ripped into him for not executing his assignment in a run fit. When Okudah gave up the long TD to Deebo later in the game despite having good coverage, Pleasant went over and comforted him. Good coaching imo. Know when to chew a guy out and know when to build him back up. Unfortunately, Okudah got hurt later in the game.

I was wondering if I got that wrong. Sorry man. The way you said it had me thinking otherwise.
No it was all shit on the Whiners post, the Lions are not a good roster and they scored 33 on the supposedly vaunted Whiners D.

We essentially already have three other Lions related threads so i'm moving this into Early games

The Lions are a really bad team. I can't argue with that. If that coaching staff wins 5 games, they've done a hell of a job.

Lol. I guess he wasn't very pleasant with Jeff Okudahs performance.

Yeah I have to agree with you there.

Goff is a winner though so he will probably have a lot of close games even with that terrible roster

Agreed. It's in their best interest to NOT win a lot of games IMO.
You're right, but if you're trying to change the culture, I think you have to fight for every inch. Plus, this QB class is looking underwhelming. So this may not be the year you want to be selecting a QB at the top of the draft. (Obviously, there's still a lot of college football ahead of us.)
