I'm not buying it, he is just saying this to the outside world remember LA is his team now and he will do whatever to help the Rams win. So much for trying to sound politically correct.

I can respect that about Weddle. I dont know if Marcus will tell the Ravens anything about us or not but if he did the same thing when he came to LA it didn't show much on the field since the Chiefs scored 51 points on us anyway.

You guys are funny. You do realize he's the captain and is in charge of addressing the defensive schemes to the rest of the defense? You think hes going to just sit there quite and not adjust his men the second he recognizes what the Ravens are doing?

Seriously?
I kinda like his stance.
But if you you think he’s not setting the D based on his knowledge, you’ve never competed.

So you are saying you like his stance... but that he is lying.

Honestly what he is saying is absolutely stupid and makes no sense in the larger sense of pro sports.

But does it really matter? if he says anything or not - not really.

Inside information is pretty meaningless with all the switching teams that players do.

What secrets? Are we trying to steal signals or something? Just play the game and don’t think we need inside information to beat the Ravens.

Makes for a great story... him saying that to the media.

What he's sharing with his team this week is something completely different though.

As for Peters... Ha... half the time when he was still a Ram he played like he had no idea what was going on. I hope the crows listen to everything he says.

This. I doubt he sits down with the coaches and teammates before the game and says anything specific.
But I'm pretty sure when they're out there on the field, he'll be yelling over to Hill, "HEY - watch the in route with that guy" and stuff like that.

Yeah - I doubt that he's not talking to his team mates with tells and such. He may not be giving away play calls but that's a non-story. Teams adjust their play calling every year and play against former team members on a regular basis. Why do we think any player is really going to give us insight that our coaches and scouts don't already have?

In reality, it is probably best he doesn't have all of our players looking for little nuances or specific tells rather than playing their position and working the plan. I'm sure if he sees something, he will direct his fellow players. It's not like he's saying he's going to ignore what he sees and act like he is a dumbass like Marcus Peters. Sorry. I was excited when we got Peters but I really grew to figure he's pretty much a dumbass with skills.

Stole my thought again damn it! :ROFLMAO: What the fuck is Peters going to sing about? How to blame other players for being burned deep? How to avoid tackling? How to speak proper English?:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Weddle should tell all to the Rams plain and simple. I'm not how much it matters.

But what if he told us about their defense, allowing us to drop 55?

Reality check guys. Why he was let go by the Ravens is readily apparent in his play. He's lost more than a step. Both Christian and Rapp (both second unit backups with one being a rookie) have clearly out played him all year. His hypocrisy is evident.....is he going to pretend he can't read their offensive tendencies when they play? If he is then sit the A-hole and start Rapp who has earned it anyway. I've always have liked Weddle but this is just wrong. He's basically saying his old team mates are more important than his current teammates. So is he going to let one of his old buddies run for a TD?

Also it goes both ways. They know Weddle's tendencies and you bet they will use it. Sit the jerk. I've watched him and he's not even close to the player he was in San Diego anymore. He's one less guy they need to keep next year.

I've always like Weddle, but not anymore. Just retire dude. Either you are a 100% teammate or you aren't it's as simple as that.

There is nothing Weddle can tell anyone that they dont already know. It's all on the tape.
What he could help with are little tells on some players. On a given def call what does the MLB tend to do when changing a call.

What is the weakness of this DB.

What does this WR do on a given route. What tells does he have when he gives a double move, etc...
