Meaningful football in December....I like it.Gee. Maybe the Josh Dobbs magic wears off and the Vikings drop a few games, too.

Now... Snackdaddy be like....Think about it. We ain't good this year. And its always been about next year and beyond. If Arizona catches and passes us we could be playing a last place schedule next year. Since we play the NFC east this year and played the NFC south last year, I'm assuming we play the NFC north next year. A last place schedule like would have us playing the Giants and Panthers. I don't know who's the 5th AFC team we would play. But it could be someone like the Patriots or Titans. Or maybe Raiders or Broncos.
That is 3 games that should be more winnable. If we're good enough to go 8-6 or 9-5 aside from those 3 it could mean 11 or 12 wins. If we don't make the playoffs this year I'd much prefer finishing last. Would give us a much easier schedule next year.
Actually - that is not really bad - likely they have an advantage over the 2nd Thu game of being better rested that the other team likely does not have.Just noticed that Seattle has two Thursday games in a row.
Who did they upset in the league office?
Sunday, Thursday, Thursday? They'll need it.Actually - that is not really bad - likely they have an advantage over the 2nd Thu game of being better rested that the other team likely does not have.
Interesting....Sunday, Thursday, Thursday? They'll need it.
Oh wait. They play the Cowboys who have the same issue. Now I get it.
Keep meanin to tell you... Nice avatar there brother man!Actually - that is not really bad - likely they have an advantage over the 2nd Thu game of being better rested that the other team likely does not have.
Haha.... I just ran across that a couple of days ago...Keep meanin to tell you... Nice avatar there brother man!
You are a prophetThis is our last chance. If we lose at Home to Seattle next Sunday, I personally, am rooting for losses and best possible Draft pick afterwards.
However, if we BEAT Seattle, especially if that's coupled with a Seattle loss this week against Washington (HUGE game for us) we are right in the mix and holding obviously the tie-breaker edge on them.
Why the optimism? Have you guys seen Seattle's schedule? They still have to play 3 harder games than us that we've ALREADY played. Seattle still has their Dallas game, their Philadelphia game, and an extra San Francisco game than us (2-1). These are 3 losses we've already accounted for on our ledger. So, this combined with us topping Seattle next Sunday can give us hope we can get into 2nd place in our Division and snag that last Playoff spot. Looks like Stafford is a GO for next Sunday as well.
To those who dont have interest in snagging a 7-seed- one-and-done Playoff spot I TOTALLY feel you. Just laying it out there as I checked out Seattle's remaining sked this morning.
And again, we lose Home against Seattle? It's all over.
Yeah Goff and Detroit really screwed us by losing on Thanksgiving to em. I still like our chances.Need to pass the Packers first, they currently have the same record and they have the tiebreaker. Here's their remaining schedule

Nah Detroit and Goff sheet the bed on Thanksgiving....More like the Rams screwed THEMSELVES by losing that packers game. The Rams have left 3 winnable games on the table:
bengals
steelers
packers
It’s the packers game that’s gonna come back to haunt us. This week is their only real overmatched game left.
That would not matter had the Rams handled their business vs GB. Sadly, Stafford was out and the backup was lousy. Had the Rams won that game, they would be ahead of GB right now as a result of the tiebreaker. Now the Rams need help and that’s only if they keep winning. Tall order with the ravens and 9ers still on the schedule.Nah Detroit and Goff sheet the bed on Thanksgiving....
Doesnt change the fact that Detroit let us down, that was my point.....That would not matter had the Rams handled their business vs GB. Sadly, Stafford was out and the backup was lousy. Arent you just a Ray of Sunshine.I think pump the brakes a bit. We're 5-6 but next two games are Browns and Ravens. Could be looking at 5-8, not a recipe for a playoff push. We beat the Cards who are one of the worst teams in the league right now.
