Jeopardizing the future to go all in for a championship last year? I'd say a resounding HELL YES!

At the time absolutely and still and ABSOLUTELY YES!

But now, with how shitty we look, it feels like it wasn't because living in the now, rather than the past it feels miserable.

100% worth it. Not a doubt about it.

And I don't think the immediate future is all that bleak, either. The cluster injuries at o-line really handicapped the Rams this season. I've never seen a team sustain that many o-line injuries before. The Ravens RB room at least year sure got stomped with injuries. But RB is a lot easier to replace and plug and play. The Rams still have some absolutely elite players at key positions, and a QB that can really sling it if given even half-way decent protection. Hit on our draft picks, identify some bargain FAs that can excel in the Rams' system, get bodies back for next season, and the Rams should be able to compete for at least another 2 years or so.

Short answer YESSS!!! Long answer, this is professional football. It lives one game at a time, one season at a time. The Rams last year did what it took to get it done. Deal with 2022 in 2022. They had to risk a lot and it paid off. The had a plan for 2022, but things haven't gone their way. Nothing that they do this year will diminish or make me question what they did to get that done. No fucking regrets.

I remember back in the 70's when we were a playoff team almost every year. But nary a championship. Its no fun going through losing seasons but if it results in more championships down the road its all worth it. I prefer that over losing in the playoffs every year.

Our team looks bleak, but once we are fully healthy, we're only a few smart draft picks away from being a playoff caliber team. We don't need 1st rounders, either. We've done pretty well scouting talent that Flys under the radar on draft day or bringing in vets for minimum pay and revamping their career. It's not doom and gloom, just a repeat of 2019, which we overcame.

What is the rams record with a healthy online?

Oh and yes. And it it was a fun season starting with game 1 only to be topped off by most-satisfying post season.

Not even a question yes without a doubt no ifs ands or buts about it 1000% worth it. Everybody wishes this year was going better but nobody should be willing to trade in a better 2023 for the SB last year.
