Hell yes. It is so hard to be that final team. Look at all the loaded teams this year and all but one are going to go home pissed off.

Right now everyone is shitting on the Rams and rightly so. They deserve a lot of it. But they are still a team who can make a run if they get the right pieces working in the right positions because they have a QB who can elevate his game.

We might bounce back next year with a strong offseason and win another one. Window isn't closed just yet and won't be as long as McVay sticks around another season and Stafford has his health.

This is tough for me. I think my answer at the moment is I don't know. Trust me, I understand how difficult it is to win the Super Bowl in the NFL and how rare of an accomplishment it is but I want to see what happens next.

Last year was amazing there is no denying it and it was even sweeter after all the dark times this franchise has been through. That being said, did we mortgage the future? Are we going to continue to be a contender when healthy or did we dwindle our depth one too many times and need time to recover? If it is the latter, will Stafford be around by the time we are ready to be a strong team again, and if not who will QB and how will we get them? How long would all this take?

I guess what I am saying is if this results in another decade of misery I'm not sure it was worth it to me. I almost would rather be a perennial contender/really good football team for a decade than have it come crashing down because we kept pushing our problems into the future and father time is here to collect.

Its a really hard choice for me and I'm not sold either way at the moment.

I love watching Rams football. And the McVay era of more Ws than Ls has been a blessing.

Unfortunately we have a bad team this year with the injuries, lack of depth, and historically bad rushing game.

I'm stoked we're champs. But I'd never knowingly trade a superbowl season for several follow up seasons of unwatchable football.

No question. If anything, this crisis may end up forcing McVay and company to come up with answers to things that needed to be addressed eventually anyway.

Even if the Rams suck for 3-5 years it would be worth it for me though. I have been a fan since the late 70s and can tell you that championships are everything afaic. Ask Cowboy fans if they would trade a bunch of their mediocre/good seasons for bad/horrible ones if it meant a championship or 2...

No question it was worth it. Look at the teams that have decades of misery and still nothing to show for it!

Shit I'm happy! lol

We have 6 OL on IR/injured right now. Give me one other team in the league that wouldn't be in the same spot or worse? I'll wait.

No team and I mean no team plans for 6 players from the OL to be down or lost for the season. Coupled with defensive strategy that gives gimme 8 yards plays AND THE SIDELINE with 44 seconds left, yeah not going to win games with that combo.

Letting Von go not matching his 3 years guaranteed from the Bills to 2 years guaranteed with us was a horrific mistake. Not drafting talented cheap depth and drafting gimmic 150lb players hasn't helped either. Or drafting two safeties one after another. Makes zero sense.

So we've had chances to negate some of the bad things with the SB run, but decided not to.

Also, I didn't want Woods to go but think Robinson would be this much of a disaster at this point of the season. Jeez

I am wondering if Stafford just doesn't have confidence in Robinson and immediately goes to Kupp since he knows he is only going to have 1 to 2 secs to throw the ball.

Absolutely worth it. Not a question at all.

The goal of every team is to win a Super Bowl. Our front office and head coach went out and did what they could to make it happened and then delivered.

Do you think a fanbase like Cleveland, like AZ, like Detroit, etc. would take a season like we're having this year as the price for the season we had last year? In a NY minute they would.

Oh, and bonus points - not only did we win the Super Bowl, we won it in our home stadium, the best stadium in the NFL, and in the very first Super Bowl played there. That we won it that way will never not be true.

There are teams who have never even sampled the Super Bowl, McVay has taken us to two and won one.

We have become hated, not because we had a bitch of an owner, but because we are/were so good. It has been fucking amazing!

I have total faith in McVay and Snead. This season is sucking donkey balls, but they didn't stumble into taking a team that saw mediocre as a high water mark and made them perennial winners, they fucking designed it.

EVERY coach has down years and short of McVay turning up on the sideline wearing flippers, nipple clamps, and a bowler hat prior to blowing Rapp live on TV, he's my guy.

I agree Corbin. But at the same time I wonder why we could not run the ball last year either... especially in the playoffs. Can our guards suck that bad, because I don't believe Big Whit or Havenstein were a problem last year. I am dumbfounded, personally.

I could see that man. Idk Robinson seems like he’s 100% committed listening to him interview. Maybe like you said in the heat of the moment it’s just natural for him?

People dismissed me saying we needed to draft a legit RB the last two years.. Watching Akers and Henderson you could tell they weren’t anything but a relief back. We need a legit number one load back. Package a deal trade up and you give up a 5th rounder like Bobby Brown or whatever to get a game changer.

This is exactly the reason I been calling on drafting young, cheap talent in the interior and RB positions. Not some half ass 5th/6th/7th round picks. Can you find a gem there? Sure but the %’s drop dramatically compared from the other rounds.

Also, letting go and not resigning Sony Michel was absolutely criminal. (Especially for vet minimum) Is the guy Marshall Faulk? Absolutely not, but he’s always in the right place at the right time and as Marshall once said “ Every back coming out the draft always has the pass blocking knock, and it’s the hardest skill to develop in the NFL”. Sony can pass block, especially on 3rd down, which I think many can agree watching this season we need. A lot at the beginning of the season and preseason dismissed Sony, like wtf are you smoking? Do you even football? Are you not seeing what coming here, or potentially coming? (injuries, lack of quality depth, a back who gets good after contact yards?)

IDK so frustrating, ton of arrogance since we won the SB and think it’s going to continue on forever. GSOT days learned me a lot.

Absolutely worth it! I hadn't seen a Super Bowl since 2001 when the Cheatriots robbed us of a dynasty. Thus far, we're not playing up to standards, but winning a Super Bowl? Absolutely worth the bad times. I remember us being shit for at least a decade, where Jason Smith, Alex Barron, Tye Hill, and Adam Carriker were our first round picks, where we picked guys like Claude Terrell, Richie Incognito, and Claude Wroten as guys who had clear character issues.

Believe me, winning a Super Bowl makes it all worth it.
