I know a bit early but it's a TNF game so thought I'd get the pregame going. Mostly to just say that apparently TJ Hockenson is supposed to make his premiere this week against us. Of course he is... another TE to watch our ILB'ers chase across the field. Bleh.

Going to need to keep that offense off the field as much as possible. The Viking's oline is one of the healthiest in the NFL and I don't think have had any miss games. So another good test for the young pass rushers. Vikings defense is dangerous but can be ran against. Need a steady helping of Kyren with some Kupp magic.

Don't worry Reeder will take care of him.

It will be a test for our team. Getting Kupp back along with Whittington will be huge. Get the ball some in Smith's hands too. I think the Defense is coming together and should give the Vikes some problems.

Kupp plus Whittington being fully in the gameplan is excellent news.

Boom being available as well is also a bonus, just in case Dedich gets focused and melts down.

Fiske's back injury worries me but overall I'd say we should be stronger than we have been in weeks for this next game.
Didn't see anything about Kupp? Is it confirmed he'll be back?

Would you mind if I edited your thread title to be much more specific and descriptive on the team that we are playing Thursday night?

I ask because since the day we got literally robbed in the playoff game against them when I was just a little kid (70's)... I only refer to that team as the Queens.

Honestly, The Queens is the true perfect name for that team. We should always honor them appropriately.

Minnesota is going to be a very tough challenge. McVay pupil wanting to prove himself in front of his mentor. My first thought was man if Flores uses the same blue print he used in Miami against Goff when they absolutely trainwrecked the o-line and gave him no time at all and forced a ton of bad decisions and throws it could be a bloodbath. Since McVay has a photographic memory, hope the nightmares of that game will help him figure out a way to avoid a repeat result. Praying I'm wrong. Bad time to be so injured on the o-line. Kupp playing helps but I feel he is not 100% and Whitt being brought along slowly causes some concern. Plus Minnesota loss on Sunday will have them fired up. Hope we can shock the world and come out on top.

I was at the game in '78 at the Coliseum when we finally beat them in a playoff game. End zone seats next to the NFL Today set. Jayne Kennedy was an absolute knockout to this 11 year old kid!!!

We are the same age Brudda... I too was 11 in 78.

That a memory to always remember... beautiful eye candy and a victory over the queens. Hard to improve on that one!

I was 18, and that was a great win after three playoff losses against the Vikings in the prior four years.

The Rams retired Fran Tarkenton with that victory. The next season, they retired Roger Staubach.
I thought they had retired Tom Brady in the 2021 Divisional Round but he returned in 2022.

I have a terrible feeling about this game. After watching Detroit beat the vikings this week it is obvious to me that our Oline will need lots of help from the play calling and the D needs to really take a big step forward for the Rams to win.
If we had a healthy line that had been playing together all season I wouldn't have this bad of a feeling, but 2 rooks in the middle of our line and I see all kinds of miss communication.

and on D our secondary won't be playing against bottom of the roster WRs and a QB that just throws bad balls all over the place.

Hopefully our offense uses a lot of 12 personnel, our D finally wraps up the sacks and TFL and the short week and home field helps us.

I pretty much think Kupp was held out yesterday to give him more time and be ready for the Vikes...we'll see. I have no clue what was with the OLine yesterday in pass protection...but I think if Boom is ready, he should start.

I had to listen to the Raider game so I couldn't see the action but the Ram offense just didn't seem to be ready. I'm gonna wait on the game replay to get a look but it was like the WRs couldn't get open or The Oline couldn't handle the rush...or both.

McVay basically said the offense just wasn't up to par yesterday....so they best be ON IT Thursday because at this point, it looks like the only team coming out of the West will be the division winner right now.

GOTTA TAKE OUT THE VIKES!!!

I think the only way we have a remote chance in this game is if McVay gets away from his 11 personnel much like he did against the 9ers. While I think they're hamstrung in the play calling dept. because of injuries, it would benefit the rams to give the Vikings something else to game plan for. Especially since we know they'll blitz the hell outta us.

Anybody have a good suggestion on where to watch the game in San Bernardino on Thursday? I’ll be out there on business next week.
