One other note: I hate that the writer went with the Ivar the Boneless version of his name. Making him a cripple is a bit unbelievable for such a revered and merciless Viking. His name could be translated to ways. One is the Boneless, and the other is "Ivar the Despicable". I think the latter is the most likely.
 
After the 2nd time they appeared out of thin air I started humming the Benny Hill theme song.
