I will say that some of the strangest things ever to happen to the Rams happen in playoff games with the Vikings.

SO Cal is a big area, especially with these winds I couldn’t tell you ? Where I live it’s different than 30-45 minutes around me.SOFI will be fine ?? I’d say the Hill(mountain) from Malibu keeps the fire & smoke of the shore or contained on the other side of the practice facility ?? Don’t know if that helps, but then again is depends on the fires.
—Those Wild Fires up North are another thing as well. The homes last are just Sad !! I remember a lot of different fires. There NO JOKE!!
I’ve followed a couple Fires over my time to get a feel for what’s going on. WOW !!

Each Fire is a Fire of its own. There’s always so many factors. There’s some great minds trying to put these things out.

yeah it’s really difficult to say, just based on social media it seems most of SoCal has unhealthy air conditions so i really don’t know where they could reasonably practice

Yep. The mudbowl, the phantom call on Tom Mack…it was frigid in the 1970 playoff, just because they trounced a weak division all year.

What was BS for most of the 70's, the league rotated homefield between divisions. I think one year the Rams were 12-2 and the Vikings were 11-3, and yet they had to play the NFCCG in Minnesota.

In fact the Dolphins perfect season they played on the road in Pittsburgh in the playoffs. That's when I first noticed that, going back and reading articles on those games, because at the time I was 7 yrs old and had no clue.

And… Royce Clayton. What’s he been doing?

It looks like he retired in 2008.

What I took from McVay resting key players was that McVay feels this team can beat anyone as long as the key players are healthy, and that this team wont get far if those key players are injured. I just dont see McVay losing a game on purpose to influence a playoff matchup.
Well, maybe not on purpose. More like, get the rest and be willing to sacrifice the seeding b/c he's confident in the match-up?

Beat the Vikings in the regular season fairly handily and was in position to beat Detroit in each of the last two meetings in their stadium so there is maybe some logic to it.

To add fuel to this matchup, I hope McVay uses that bitch ass comment from Campbell about seeing the Vikings in 2 weeks as another rallying cry that teams don't respect us. So badly would love to beat down the Vikings to get a shot at shutting that dumb fuck caveman shit head and his dirtbag team up.
With regard to the lack of respect, there was a segment on Get Up this morning where Orlovsky highlighted the top 5 Trios (QB/WR/RB) in the playoffs.

Rams get left out.

Wall Street Journal Article on the "Rams Rejects".

I think you get a free article if not a subscriber. So should be accessible

There are ways around paywalls....
For instance, you can go the web archive and plug the URL into the "search" box:
If someone has already "saved" the content from that URL, you can read the original article.
The new URL will be something like this:
It is a great article, however.

The end of the article (mentioning Verse), shows the drive these guys have:

Verse, who was fourth in the NFL in pressures in his rookie season, is the one who will make sure the Vikings know his back story during their playoff showdown.
Verse isn’t afraid to admit that he can be a trash-talker, and particularly enjoys jawing with opponents who came out of high-school as five-star recruits—or five stars more than he had.
Compared with him and his defensive teammates, who had to claw their way to a spot in pro football, Verse thinks those blue-chip players can be “mentally weak.”
“All they know,” Verse says, “is the easy way.”
