It's about the NFL controlling outcomes.
It doesn't get fixed because they don't want it fixed. They make better money this way.
When they think it's losing money, only then will they change.

@kurtfaulk and I simply agreed and were ignored. Should I have spent an hour thumb typing a college final exam dissertation for satisfaction?

I can't believe I saw a Tennessee player hit a refs hand off of him and nothing gets called, but God forbid Young accidently knocks a refs hat off and he's kicked out.

The weak ass refs that jobbed us repeatedly Sunday night definitely influenced the outcome of the game with blatantly wrong calls.

Did you see the highway robbery shit last night? Click over if necessary because this needs to be seen by everyone.

FUCKING BULLSHIT beyond belief. The league has a massive problem.

Don’t agree . That’s the rule. He can dance all he wants that’s one.Nothing there.
He can’t go towards the other bench & just the view of his helmet he said something towards the punter. That’s the flag.
Then the ref has his spot.He is getting ready to flag Marsh for it. He turns to protect himself & make the call. There is nothing there. He did a little booty bump, but look at the yard mark.He never crossed over & his spot was already established.
Jalen RAMsey had a taunting call against him & Mcvay brought that up
as not being the case. I was more upset at the lack of respect DD21 got.
He had his face mask grabbed & then got called for protecting himself to make the play.
I've said it before and will probably say it a thousand more time NFL officials SUCK!

The refs are way worst now than they were back in the day.Thank goodness there is reply. Then again the Higbee TD was worse than the taunting call.
You can’t talk crap to the other teams bench period.John Harbaugh got a FUNNY taunting call against him.The players was talking to him,he was just shaking his head like I got you,I got you.

I also hate that refs think Tom Brady has a pink tutu on and that breathing on him is a personal foul. If he played in the 70's or 80's he would be disabled and retired by now.

Honestly, in this day and age, why can't every call be quickly reviewed by the guys in NY? There is 10 views of every play that can be reviewed rather quickly by someone in a office. Why is the goal not to get EVERY call 100% correct? They have the ability to do just that, but choose not to. Why is that?
I’ve been beating that carcass for years now

The taunting rule in theory is a good thing , but the officials can’t differentiate between celebration and taunting.

That ref last night seemed to deliberately ran into the defender who was pumped up because he had made an awesome play. That ref proved that he has no understanding of competitive sport. Disgraceful. Would the NFL be any poorer if he was shipped off to Siberia?

How else can they help the stealers win?

Yeah - right . Tell Marsh to GOn2 HIS BENCH.

What was Marsh’s excuse ?

1. He thought he was playing for the Steelers
2. He was got to dizzy because he just spun around 6 times
3.He wanted to run straight at the Old Ref who was watching it all happen
4. A & B

The Ref never moved across his line.Marsh kept coming at him & he turned & he held his ground. He didn’t flag him for running into the Ref.Kenny Young got called for that.

BTW - the Bears coach knew exactly how silly it was on Marsh to make a Big Time sack & then taunt after his celebration. — Don’t blame the Ref for not just celebrating with his teammates..
The clock is still going so he can’t delay the punting team from coming on to the field. Staring down the Punter because you wear make up & your special & above the game. The Ref is picking on me.
Mcvay had Ramsey’s back. He doesn’t want to lose him.I remember the INT., now I have to go back & watch that play again to see if there was something there ? I thought Jalen had no business getting physical with the WR.I doubt he was trying to help him up.
Funny how some people can see the same video & have a different opinion. I watched the next video though from Sharpe & Skip.
I heard Keyshawn Johnson’s take on it & he said exactly like Insaid. Of course that other guy always has to be the other guy against it.
— Yes that call cost the Bears the game in some sense. He still has to make that call.Dance & celebrate just don’t go tell the other team about it.They already know they F’d up.
I Remember when The NFL stood for no Fun League.

I’m with Tom Brady on the # change & the added game. That’s why I LOL that The Rams loss was so bad.

You mean when the starting center was 240 lbs ? Just glad Stafford lived to play another down.
I put up a post that I thought he took a late hit against Arizona?(? Team) but was told it wasn’t.
Did you see The Obo45 Hit ? Now that was a hit like they use to be able to do it.Close call, but the Ref had it in for The Rams.
— Still wish they would have blown that photo up so we could see why HIGBEEST’s TD was called back.

Disagree. IMO the ref was looking for contact, got it, threw the flag.

What was the call ?

The call was taunting so it was going to get called regardless. He had to make sure there was nothing else that was going on either.

The rule is good & will be defined more as the season goes on.Unfortunately Da Bears season is pretty much over because of it.

Talk about The NFL. Da Bears schedule would put The Rams at least with 3 losses.

Taunting, and I disagree that it was going to be called regardless.

If the official had made his mind up already and he had to make sure there was nothing else going on, then why would he turn his back on the player and run into him? Wouldn't he step back and continue to face the player? He had a clear view of the pathway that Marsh was running. Marsh has a helmet on limiting peripheral view and attempts to move out of the way and even gestures back with his right hand when he makes contact - which he wouldn't have if the ref hadn't shifted his left leg back into him.

IMO the ref was not going to throw the flag but was looking for an excuse to throw it.

This official, Tony Corrente, should be suspended.

The game is becoming increasingly about the ref's and not the players. The officials are not the stars, the players are. The best officials, are the ones you don't even know are there.

This is the funniest/saddest part of the whole conversation. Yes, smart people might think passing this up to NY would solve the problem, since they have the time and the angles to get it right.

But... they had all the time in the world to get Higbee's catch right, took conflicting views of the catch and choose to OVERRULE a TD reception when it was very possible the part of the cleat on the turf never went over the line, and the back of his cleat was off the ground and just "looked like" it was out due to the angle. So why not use the other angle(s)? Why not decide the views are conflicted SO GO WITH THE CALL ON THE FIELD??!!

This is why we can't get 100%. We'd just be passing judgement calls to other morons. If they'd just agree that all calls are reviewable and can only be turned over when completely obvious, we'd be fine. But when we had that on PI, everyone complained that they ruled every play inconclusive even though they were clearly obvious.

It's unbelievable with this much money at stake, they can't agree on a system that doesn't make everyone laugh or cry throughout the week.

refs do have an impact on games... captain obvious...

the sad thing is, it's coming to the point where it doesn't matter the outcome, because the ability of your team doesn't matter because the game is based on who wins the calls..

sad state the nfl has regressed to...

fucking ridiculous...
