Overall we played a dam good game.

played physical and with a chip on our shoulder from last week.

Staley really mixed things up and that bodes well going forward.

Goff manned up and played aggressive. I love it.

Jared Goff 79% completion pct from outside the pocket this year.

First in the NFL.

Not bad for a “pocket only QB”.

What a win.

The energy was so much better this week. Donald echoed my statements that we were soft last week.

Not this week :p.

The Defense was aggressive, we stuck to the ground game....Jared really stepped up in the 3rd after those penalties got us in good field position.

Johnny Hekker was a man possessed.

Staley mustive heard us talking shit @oldnotdead because man, the defense was the most ferocious ive seen yet.

Only cons are:

-The loss of Terrell Burgess who was amazing tonight. That really sucked
-Jalen was electric but got burned BAD on 2-3 deep balls because he gets greedy looking for picks. It wasnt backbreaking but hopefuly hes more disciplined against the higher powered offenses we still have on the schedule.
-Spamming the Jet Sweep came back to bite us with a rare bobby trees fumble and two of those got blown the fuck up before the fumble.. Sean's gotta remember that Coop and Woods are not big guys and the sweep makes them very vulnerable to blind spot tackles.

otherwise im very proud of the team and hopefully they keep the same energy the rest of the year. They looked how a playoff contending team should tonight.

Shout out to those who had Goff struggling in this game. And he performed well on prime time.
+1
One more strong performance against a good D.

69.9% 108 rating
2 TD’s
1 fumble, no turnovers
Reynolds, Jefferson, Mundt caught balls

As I said in another thread Kudos to Staley for calling and game planning an excellent game. He just needs to build off of it.

LOL OMG Mundt didn't drop a single pass!!

McVay showed how he's missing a FB so I expect them to draft one in the mid to late rounds next year. He should bring up Jonah Williams off the PS. He's BIG and he's got the speed and strength to probably be a good lead blocker. Also, he looks to have good hands as a receiver. I would expect them to find someone to play FB coming out of the bye week. With Burgess going out and hopefully Sloman being released (to be re-signed to the PS) they probably will make PS moves this week.

Bonamego did a great job too man. Been on his ass and our teams have not been good, but outside of a missed FG the coverage teams were outstanding. They stuffed the Bears' return game all night long.

One thing I was noticing was we continually had a great return man take it out from just into the end zone and stopped him I think every time short of the 25 yard line. Coverage teams balled tonight.

This was a complete team win. Just like last week was a complete team loss.

This week both the coaches and players were dialed in ready to play. This is a playoff-caliber team if they keep playing and coaching like that. One thing I don't like is how Henderson will be balling and then get pulled and McVay goes away from the run totally instead of building on it, i.e. mixing up run and pass.
