The biggest problem with the O is that Foles doesnt change the call at the line to either beat the blitz with a quick throw or take what the D is giving when they put 8 in the box. TA and Gurley can make something out of nothing only so many times, at some point we have to throw the ball against 8 man fronts. What happened to the 3 WR bunch formations that were so effective, against Ari I believe? You cannot rely on 2 players and the D to do all the scoring.

Ok, there are several big problems. Every D alignment has a weakness or leaves something for the O to take, yet the Rams continually run the same plays even when the D has shown that they have found a way to stop them. The Rams have had games where they either run or pass but have yet to have a game where they can do both and have had at least a couple where they couldnt do either.

Here I thought Gurley and Austin were going to kill the Vikings. Austin had a good day. Gurley not so much. But then I was told no one could stop him. I warned you guys not to look at the overall Vikings run defense but to look at the trend since the Niners game. Gurley managed 3.7 a carry. Right in line with what the Vikings have been giving up the last 6 games.

What I see the Rams need. QB other than Foles. Another WR to take the heat of of Austin. Another RB, again to take some heat off of Austin and Gurley. Mason won't cut it. And some one else to help return punts. Putting way to much on Austin.

Austin dropped a TD that likely would have won the game and the two of them combined for 155 yards rushing.

We didn't know our QB would be this bad today, and didn't know that a rookie would be starting his first game on an already youngest OL in the league. Our RT that missed, is our best lineman. Gurley and Austin played pretty well, IMO, and surely not the reason we lost.

.

It's official, this team is going nowhere with Fisher. Playing for the fg with 4 minutes to go crushed part of my soul. When will the Rams have a hc that plays to win again?

.
If GZ hits that FG and the D gets the stop, which they did, then the FG that tied the game at the end of regulation would have been the game winner. It may not have been the call you would have made, but if the team executes the plays called Fishers strategy would have worked.

When I saw who was inactive today I fully expected them to lose especially seeing them go down 10-0. Thought they played hard and actually surprised me that they could get down the field with no time outs and tie the game.

Really hate that Foles cannot seem to read anything presnap and make an audible. Plus who the fuck was he looking for on the first play if not Britt?
Hate the dline, namely Hayes jumping offsides multiple times.
I know Gurley is a rookie but WTF was he trying to do the first play in OT?
And allowing Shaun Freaking Hill move the ball down the field for the winning field goal, inexcusable.

No not if he misses wide open receivers. Receivers were not the problem today.

The wide receivers didn't help themselves by not getting open. I won't deny that Foles needs to be benched ASAP, but if you think that Britt, Quick, Bailey, and Cook aren't problems as well, I don't know what to tell you. I really don't. This was Britt's best game as a Ram by far, which is really kind of sad. Otherwise, he's done nothing but disappear. Quick hasn't had his name called in forever. Bailey is a fourth wide receiver at best. And don't even get me started on Jared motherfucking Cook.

And maybe the Rams score if they don't run the ball on 3rd down on the second to last drive.

How are they going to make plays if foles makes bad passes or doesnt even throw their way. They were open on plenty of plays. Im not saying they havent been at fault in previous games but today it was on Foles. This wasnt Britts best game either. But admit he has disappeared.

We need a new quarterback for absolute sure, but we also need two wide receivers. For me, it would be Doctson and Wilson. Those are my two favorites.

I dont want to argue with you, I have a lot of respect for you @jrry32, but at that point in the game the O/Foles had not shown much to give me the confidence to throw the ball there, and Gurley has atleast shown the ability to get a tough 1st down when the OL gives him nothing to work with. So I will agree to disagree and drop it.

Look, I love Gurley. But that wasn't a get the first down run. It was a set up the field goal run. It was upsetting to see Fisher concede the tie at that point. Especially with it not being an easy FG for Greg. If there's one thing that bothers me about Fisher, it's how conservative he is in situations like that. Go for the throat.

I wouldnt say we need 2 wr. I say 1 would be fine. Can u admit that the wr was not the problem today and it was foles? I like wilson and Doctson. Wilson reminds me of Benjamin
