It is on my bucket list but losing my job will probably take me awhile to be able to afford going there
Sorry to hear that.
It was on mine as well and, three weeks ago - against the Eagles - I was able to make it happen! The stadium does not disappoint. Very well laid out and easy to navigate.
There is one serious, sad truth about going to an NFL game today:
It's EXPENSIVE!!!
Our seats were at about the 30 yard line and on level 7 (the highest level up). And they were still over $350 apiece!!
I don't know what it costs for season tickets at SoFi, but it has to be CRAZY expensive.
I live in Dallas and a couple of friends of mine have Cowboys season tickets. Also, very expensive... but probably nowhere Rams season tickets.
They pick out the three games where they know the opponent's fans travel well and sell them on the secondary market. Those three games pay for their entire season ticket cost.
Does that make them "bad" fans? Not to me... not when the cost of season tickets are in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Fact is... these ticket prices are outrageous.
The only "true" fans are the ones that can afford to lay out the tens of thousands of dollars and go to every game.
Know what we call them? These "True" fans? Millionaires.
There were more Philly fans at the game I attended... and by a good margin. Some Rams season ticket holder saw that game on the calendar and circled it for sale. And, it probably paid for a good chunk of the total cost of the season.
Want to blame someone? Blame the NFL and it's owners. Greedy people that they are. And the King of Greed? You guessed it - good old Stan The Man.
Good news is... he got his Championship. Bad news is.. he screwed the people of St. Louis doing it and is pick-pocketing every Rams fan in L.A.
