Perfect opportunity to steal a win wasted. I could see it coming when Mcvay gifted 3 points before the half. Absolutely no reason to pass from your own 20 , when you could’ve ran the clock to 30 seconds or so. This defense can’t be expected to hold up for 60 minutes. Burrows helped them in the first half by missing open receivers.
After a promising 1-0 start , the last 6 quarters have been hot garbage. We are who most people thought we were. Sure looks like we’ll be 1-4 in two weeks.

Nawww this is a good team. This was a coaching loss by McVay, LaFleur and Morris. McVay for not adjusting to what the Bengals were doing, ignoring his run game, LaFluer for not having a cohesive run game plan, and Morris for returning to his good enough ways of uber soft zones, predictable schemes, and just atrocious play calling.

The minute Jackson went down Noteboom should have taken over at LT. Thomas should have moved to RG. Thomas is a better fit at OG. Where the hell is Dotson? Anchrum is the scrub I said he was. After 4 years he still has no clue how to play in the NFL. He's actually regressing IMO which shows a lack of commitment from him. Cut him on Tuesday and move on.

McVay said Williams was a RB1 but didn't play him like it. He showed a lack of faith in him and he's definitely a liability in the passing game. Time to start Evans and Freeman. Cut Anchrum and sign Freeman to the active roster. Why did they play Anchrum when they have Allen on the roster?

Too many questionable moves by the coaching staff, i.e. McVay and LaFleur.

.

How about when Higbee didn't go out of bounds on that last drive. I was gobsmacked. Hasn't this guy been playing football his whole life? What do you think was going through his brain when he decided to go back infield? Just another play that typified the kind of game this was for the Rams.

The tipped pass that went straight into the arms of chase? What kind of luck is that.

The refs overturning the tutu td but confirming the interception by the Bengals even though there was more evidence the ball moved on the ground than a shoe hitting the white paint? The Rams had no luck in that game.

I thought Zach Thomas was the key player in this game. Unfortunately it was a jail break almost every damn play on the left side.

Maybe Noteboom still is playing with a hurt shoulder. But hard to imagine Z Thomas will be out there at LT next week.

Gotta imagine Boom will be at LT if AJ can't go. And they gotta consider someone besides Thomas as backup LT.

We need to stop looking bad in primetime games. Even when we were better, more often than not we lay an egg when everyone is watching.

The run game??? Does McVay know we suck run blocking or is he impatient? I don't know but everything was predictable.

O line depth still sucks. Can Boom play two games in a row without running to the sideline?
This. All of it.

One thing is for certain. We have to have a healthy Oline to be competitive. With Mcvay being pass happy, some really good WR's and a good pass pro Oline we can be a dangerous team. But when the Oline guys get hurt the whole machine shuts down like Chickfila on a Sunday.

I am real confident we can make alot of noise and win some huge games when it matters, if Kupp comes back and our Oline can stay healthy. I guess Jackson had a thigh bruise which isnt exactly season ending or anything. Noteboom is glass so maybe we will have to roll with Dotson.

Morris defense makes stops when he dials up pressure, we saw it in each game so far this year including twice I can remember in this game. He needs to do it more though. Way to many soft zone 4 man rush or delayed blitz calls to fluster a QB or force Turnovers.

IMO it was too obvious where the bias on the officiating crew was. They went out of their way to be ticky tacky. A horsecollar tackle that they decided wasn't can be added to that list. Just like how they allowed the 49ers to false start and align illegally the entire game. The bias is in plain view and they can't justify it. Too much gambling money on these games. If the money is on the Rams they would get the benefit of non-calls etc. A guy I know has been tracking it for two years and it's only getting worse. It's why the media went bonkers when McVay kicked a FG against the 49ers to cover the spread. Even McVay knows it and it was his way of giving them the finger.

Anyone have McVay’s presser? I want to see him attempt to explain this blunder.

My son and I drove 4 hrs to watch that crap.. we were celebrating my 50th birthday. Obviously disappointed, not necessarily that they lost but how they lost. I appreciate coach but damn he does some things that leaves us baffled. The Bengal fans sitting next to us asked us “does he know we are having trouble stopping the run?” It’s almost as if he has some big ass ego and cant just do whatever is logical. Again, I appreciate him… but damn.

Weak, bottom of the league, rushing attack yet again
Poor 3rd down conversions = 24 min's TOP.
Cincy rings up 6 sacks

The Rams have got "alot to work on" but will rely upon on Stafford and 2 WR's next week, too.

Hope we find a way to move on from
Stafford. Had that magical run and got us the SB win so I will always appreciate him, but he is not and has never been a winning player.
What the heck are you talking about man. Throw the baby out with the bath water much??? Not a winning QB, give me a break.

Thanks for representing.

You wont remember the wins and losses so much but you'll remember the time spent with your son!

Better days ahead for our Rams

Im not asking you to agree with me. And no one can ever take away the magical Super Bowl year.

But at some point, you are what the numbers say you are.

Good bc I don't agree with you and I'm sure 90% of the board doesn't.

Still disgusted with last nights performance. 2-1 would’ve made a huge difference. I don’t see them beating Indy on the road , and Philly might run all over us. 1-4 sure looks likely , and that will be too much to overcome. I got caught up in all the 1-0 hype too. Should’ve known better.

2 snaps for Hopkins
The blatant disregard for TE in this offense is mind boggling to me. 4th year with the team and he can only get 2 snaps?
No support for the o-line, Kyren's best ability is pass pro, and he's out in the flat getting balls thrown over his head. Higbee is running intermediate routes, no inline TE helping the o-line, nobody chipping the DE who is eating the LT's lunch
I dont know how this is possible in today's NFL that a roster can be designed so poorly

knew it was going to be that kind of night when Stafford missed 3 little swing passes to Williams in the 1st q. and 1 of them had td all over it

But fuck it... am on to Indianapolis..
