I didnt watch all of the games, but I'd have to say that Pittsburgh team looked ill equipped to score points on any team. That coach is something else all right, he opined his affection for running the ball, and apparently hasnt installed any pass plays. The QB's were both embarrassingly ineffective for the Maulers but had little chance to be a success
Haley is gonna make things happen with that Tampa team. Their first drive, (clearly scripted) was precise and looked very much NFL-like. Sure after that they needed some work, but Rome wasnt built in a day....
I watched a replay of one of the games. The USFL is missing one very important part of the pro football experience and that's the fans. The 12th man. Without a stadium of cheering fans it looks more like a preseason scrimmage.

I hope the crowds pick up. Maybe Easter holiday had an affect.
The other thing, is only Birmingham has home games. All 7 other team's fans don't get to see their team unless they travel to Alabama.
I've heard next year they intend to play in their own home stadium. So, I'm just gonna roll with all this, this season!
