.

even though the ending was a kick in the guts nobody can take away how good i felt during the comeback. seeing goff hit woods just as he was getting blown up in what seemed like half a second after he turned to throw was fantastic and then woods beat 4 defenders to score. then the kupp td. and then donald's sack, strip, recovery, well that's a feeling you can't buy. then henderson punches it in for the lead. this is why we watch football.

i'll always come back and watch.

Goff showed me a LOT today. It was Kurt Warner like. Dealing bullets when he "knows" he is going to get blown up. He does not get enough credit.
We all seen it in his Cal highlights where he did just that. Things are slowing down for him now in the NFL, he has complete command and control of McVay's offense. McVay is growing up too. Do not forget how young he is. He had some Martz like qualities last year, would abandon the run and try and force things.
Its always better to have that little bit of indecition of opposing defenses. Goff can not do it, the indecision part with his legs like some modern QBs can. So McVay is doing it with so many plays looking the same at the start. You can already see other teams copying it. The most sincere form of flattery.
AND, call me a Allen fan now. He is a stud. . I thnk he will be considered a top QB in short order.

Yup. Goff is turning 26 and McVay is 34. We should be set up well for a while.

I feel like what Seattle is doing isn't sustainable.
Not because of Wilson, tho.

I just don't think they can keep going if that D is gonna keep taking on water with all those injuries.

At some point, a team is gonna just play keep away with the ball and run all over that D and make them play defense for more than 40 minutes.

When that starts happening, it's gonna be tough for them to beat teams that can sustain a rushing attack. Doesn't help that Carson went down and their running attack isn't strong.

So, I agree that it's not sustainable, but sheesh is Wilson running away with the MVP or what?

Wilson is amazing to watch. He is a nightmare for opponents.

14 TDs through 3 weeks....what a beast.

They are looking like early contenders

Honestly, if we didn't know them so well, I'd give us no chance against them.

But we do...

And their D is hurting...

And their run game is sagging...badly...

If it weren't for Wilson playing maybe the best QB I've ever seen right now... which pains me to say... then the Seahawks would be entirely ordinary.

Also Rodgers is playing pretty damn well. I recognize that offense and realized that if Rodgers had our WR corps, they'd be the most deadly offense...maybe ever. Glad they got that QB in the first round... /smirk

There's a difference between losing 42-0 and losing whatever the score was today. Pretending otherwise is black and white thinking and garbage analysis. I don't buy into moral victories either, but there's a difference between the game against the Ravens last year and this game, surely?
This.

When Rams were down 28-3, I’ll admit to thinking “please just make the score respectable.” Even for teams with good records, a blowout loss is usually a sign they’re not good enough to make a serious run in the playoffs.

Far from tanking it and suffering a blowout loss, the Rams came THISCLOSE to pulling off the largest comeback in franchise history.

Sorry to say Wilson is the best QB I’ve ever seen.

Hope we destroy him.

But his ability to pull the rabbit out of the hat is insane.

This was so insanely crazy.... Just think about this...

21-3 at half, on road.

You come out, get stopped pretty fast and they tack on another TD...

28-3 well into the 3rd... feeling left for dead.

Then...

You come back... with the benefit of just one turnover... and ACTUALLY leave too much time on the clock... more than 4 minutes.

From 28-3... to 32-28 lead... with 4 min left.

Wait? What?!!!

We actually came back and had MORE time than needed?

Wrap your head around that!

We were obviously robbed at the end but what a second half performance. We are a very good team that played a bad half

I didn't read the article, but the title alone makes me shake my head...

So, the logic is... we got a favorable call go our way in the past... so we should shut up and tolerate bad calls in the future because of that?

If you have reasoning skills... does that disqualify someone from being a journalist these days?

I certainly felt much better after the game than I did at halftime. My god I was totally defeated at half time. They showed a lot in defeat and I'm happy about that despite some of our obvious flaws. Other good thing is if we are going to lose a game on a blown call at least have it happen against an out of conference opponent who will have very little implications on playoffs outside of the loss itself.

My two fantasy QBs are a Goff and Allen.

If Wilson is Superman, Aaron Donald is the Hulk with a Kryptonite helmet.

Wilson has a way of being pedestrian when AD lines up across from him.

Hendo comin' out party. KNOCKED DOWN Tremaine Edmonds to score the TD. 114 yds rushing.
I miss that top gear that Todd had. But I really thing T. Edmonds stops him at the 1. Hendo has that low center of gravity, kinda like what we had with CJ, but Hendo has HANDS and burst and moves. One run, he was stopped at midfield but did a spin move to get 5 more yds.
I think we Ka-RUSH the Giants with Akers back (hopefully) and Fuller in the backfield.
