Davis Allen had a solid game as a starter. Nothing spectacular.. but no penalties or drops. Kid's a lower-tier NFL starter or solid rotational/#2 guy ... at least that's his floor.

Zach Evans!! Got a touch and was on the field! I just get the feeling we'll see a lot of him next year. I keep mocking RBs to the Rams.. but with Rivers and Evans behind Williams.. maybe it will be very late or UDFA.

Plus.. Puka, Avila, Turner and Young... along with Punter Evans, of course! Nick Hampton got some run as well.
Oh.. McClendon got some snaps as well.

Geez... what a haul.

Didn't care for him going down so easy with one hand on the jersey on the one carry I noticed him on. But it's a good sign I suppose that we saw him out there.

And here's what they CAN do with their cap next year.
I'm gonna suggest to people that the Dodgers offseason is something to consider. People knew they would go big.. they had no idea they would go THAT BIG.
Kroenke doesn't live in a vacuum.
I say they're going BIG next year in FA.

I've watched every snap Z Evans has taken this year (preseason and reg season) and I haven't been impressed by anything he's done. Hope I'm wrong, but he looks like a bust to me.

Rest of the draft has been a home run.

I'd add, who continued to get better as the season went on compared to who faded.

Fuck the Eagles, let Carter feel good about himself while they get bounced from the playoffs by Tampa Bay as Kobie goes to Detroit and knocks off the Lions. He may have started hot but it was Kobie who finished hot while having an all-time DT rookie season. Eagles would trade Carter up for Turner if they could right now, did I say fuck the Eagles yet?

I think he's got a ceiling to be a stud pass rusher physically. Will depend on his instincts and how smart he uses them whether he hits that ceiling. His grit and determination will take him a long way though. Either way we've got one side of our outside rush figured out for the next 4 years at least.

Once we add Bryce Huff or Danielle Hunter (edge) in free agency and draft T'Vondre Sweat (365lb space eating run stuffer) in the draft Young will go off next year. Pressure will come from everywhere and Young will have ample opportunities to turn in a 12+ sack season. I also predicted that Young would have 8 sacks this season so there's that.

Not sure I'd call a 5th round rookie a bust. What can we expect from that? Yes, he doesn't have the decisiveness and burst Kyren and Rivers has. Maybe its a confidence thing? He was graded out to be an explosive home run hitter type back. Its possible he's not ready for the speed of the NFL. I imagine he'll get another look during training camp. If he's not that guy they'll move on from him and draft another one on day 3.

He was The 11th Ram DRAFTED 2023.

WTF do you want ? I mean your calling him a bust after only finishing his rookie seasons.I mean I guess the 12th pick was Ethan Evans who might be a Pro Bowl Punter.So he isn’t even The Best Evans on the team or in the draft.

Still if your looking ahead I’d say who knows.I wonder what you were saying about Kyren Williams or Ronnie Rivers last season.The Rams thought enough about him to keep 4 RB’s.

I agree though he doesn’t have that quick burst from the backfield you like to see.You could see that day 1 in training camp.First time I saw Kyren Williams I was blown away.He is quicker than you could imagine in person. He is also SMALLER than you’d think.CB size at 5’9 190. The thing about him that makes him extra special is his toughness & blocking ability.

When you’re looking at general scouting size,speed,& combine numbers Zach Evans has it all.
Oldbutnotdead will tell you he is a All Pro & Kyren Williams has no breakaway speed & can’t be a starting NFL RB.

I don’t know - from what I saw & Tam Fans might see Sunday is Hoecht playing RDE/Lber & Byron Young playing more LDE/Olb in coverage?

The last couple games they sort of switched out & Raheem Morris made mention of it.

Jourdon where are you to clarify the change? She is excellent at seeing these things though.She is smarter than most.I do appreciate her,except she tried to get to big for her britches.I think she buys & bought in to The Rams not being as Bad as some thought.

—I was going to go to Vegas early in the season.IMO Mcvay almist blew it ? He wants to blame the players are use them as a cover for the early losses.That Cinncy game of not moving Noteboom to LT from guard when Alaric Jackson got hurt was a PURE JOKE!! Zach Thomas almost single handly loss the season & get Matthew Stafford KILLED!! Then again that 2 point conversion against Dallas!! That almost was a disaster. So at the bye week & agreed with Jbon that if The Tams beat Seattle at home they’d have a chance to make the playoffs. Who knew how Stafford would hold up or his thumb would be ?
This week off does his thumb good. Steve Avila deserves more credit than he gets with this Rookie Class. Out of site out of mind. Keep those holes opening.

I feel like the first DL they draft won't be that prototype.. Bobby Brown is turning into that guy.. better every game he played this season, imo.
I wouldn't mind drafting another big body somewhere, though. But I think another guy who could be an upgrade over Jonah Williams would be what I would want. Some badass 6-4 295 athlete.

Yeah, need more athletes on the DL, and yes, preferably with size and a mean attitude. Turner brought the athleticism that we have lacked outside of AD, and we need more of that, but in a bigger frame.
