Jack has a big contract, so I don't think there's any way he ends up a Ram.

Have you heard of Buddy Howell ? He is already a core special teams player.

Been Sko is fast,big & strong.He will be alright.Tutu will get his chances now more than what was said last week. Sean Mcvay was trying to accommodate DJ1 & show cased him as a PR guy.

Like I said earlier about Les Snead. When has he valued a RB & inside LBer as The Rams GM.I’m talking even drafting one. Do you remember Bobby Wagner the HOF LB for the Hags?

Because if they *can* get something back, they'll take it. The deadline is close, so it won't hurt to wait a couple more days.
I'm not 100% clear on how much he gives them, but it would be enough for a vet minimum for the balance of the year.
Hollins is supposed to come back, but, we'll see. I'm always happy to add a pass rusher.

Lawler,Howard, & OBo all 3 have been Rams for awhile.They are Veterans that help make The Rams defense better.I’m excited for them to get paid a little & shine a lot.
If The Rams are speaking the Truth these players cost money & are ready to play. I like The Rams depth & have enjoyed watching them back when Wade Phillips was still around.

The Rams have yet to find a player to replace Johnny Mundt, who’s out for the year with a torn ACL. However, Kendall Blanton appears to be the next man up after being promoted from the practice squad last week and playing two snaps in the win over Detroit.

He’ll have a more permanent role moving forward, too. The Rams announced Saturday that they’ve signed him to the 53-man roster, which isn’t a temporary promotion like last week’s. They also elevated Antoine Brooks Jr. and Tyler Hall from the practice squad for Week 8 against the Texans.

Teams are permitted to promote up to two players each week from the practice squad.

Blanton appears to have lept Jacob Harris and Brycen Hopkins on the depth chart as the No. 2 tight end. Harris didn’t play any offensive snaps last week and Hopkins has been inactive for each game this season.

With Mundt out, the Rams didn’t use nearly as much two-tight end sets against the Lions, reverting to their old ways as primarily a three-receiver team in 11 personnel.

Here is another guy I’ve watched in training camp. He made 2 excellent plays going across the middle.Last week I thought he’d have a catch. Besides not being afraid with a DB gearing up for him(great Concentration) making catches a TD.
He also went low sliding for a big guy.
—Johnny Mundt has all the tools & experience.Smart hard working athletic TE. Blanton has to prove himself.Imo he is ready as a pass receiver,but not sure about his blocking? I hope he gets his chance & The Rams running game gets off this weekend.

So really no Logic there imo because Henderson is tough a nails.Sony is considered a Pro’s pro.Buddy Howell is just a JAG who plays special teams & is learning under Brown.
Les Snead has never carried a big RB group.I’d say maybe if Sony or Henderson were listed on the injury report.
I like this RB group not even as much as the coaching staff,so I won’t be wishing any change there.
I guess I need to look up what was said about the LBers.I like the youth & leadership.Funny though with such a poor LBer group. Micah started for Denver & they just traded for Kenny Young.If the position was so bad I’d trade them all.

Seen a few murmurs about Myles Jack this past week... Interestingly, with Havenstein's restructure, the Rams have just enough cap space to trade Robert Woods for Myles Jack straight up, this deal would leave the Rams with about $45K in cap space (according to spotrac)... so may not desirable for us Rams fans, but doable.

Ernest Jones is playing well today (against the lowly Texans), but the meat of the Rams schedule is coming up and even with Kenny Young's speed and playmaking, the Rams D have been getting gashed hard by the better run teams in the League this season (see AZ game). Most would agree that the Rams need a stronger presence in the middle if they are gonna make a deep run at the SB.

With Van Jeff stepping up, could McSnead be considering moving out of Woods and his big contract to add another dynamic playmaker on the D? Jack reunites with Ramsey, and a defense with Donald + Jack + Ramsey could formidable (back to Top 5 D?).

Rams are stacked at WR, and although Woods is a valuable weapon, Rams O could still score points in bunches with their other weapons. DJax is fresh, moves in to the #4 WR, gets his targets, and gets paid. Tutu in the wings in case DJax gets hurt.

May explain why McVay was pissy when getting peppered with questions about DJax during is new conference last week. Might've been thinking "we have a plan and DeSean just needs stfu and chill until the transaction(s) happen."

So how about it... would you trade Woods for Jack?

Still haven’t watched the game,but yes THE RAMS running game is getting off. The defense who knows Raheem Morris is the DC so they should fire him just cause ?
Main point about Les Snead though is he is not afraid to make a trade.He & Demoff though really like there system with Sean Mcvay.
Personally I’d lighten up & enjoy the season.I’m a guy that LOVES preseason football & OTA’s. That is why I post so much.My passion is about team & have been drinking the KOOL-AIDE for a long time.I usually don’t post as much during the season.
This Rams team is AWESOME IMO!! Been to most camps when they were St.Louis. Never made it back & would do so if I could turn back time.

Absolutely not. Woods is crucial to this offense. Part of why Kupp is so open some times is that teams can't just double Kupp.

Woods contributes so many intangibles that disrupting that during this Super Bowl run would likely be disastrous, especially in the playoffs where margins are razor thin

I wouldn't trade Woods. The WR room is no longer stacked if he's gone. As a matter of fact it looks like a weakness.

Neither Kupp or Woods are in the top 10 highest paid list of WR. I'd leave that room alone beyond our top 3 guys.

That being said, honestly, I'm not comfortable handing the reins to Atwell. At all. I hated the pick the absolute moment it was made. I wanted Bolton. Now, I'm perfectly fine with E-Jones over Bolton, but Darden has already had snaps at punt returner, kick returner, and, unlike Atwell, has had snaps in the offense. We're talking about a stacked Buccaneers team, and Darden has still had snaps.

If we could somehow trade Atwell for Darden, I'd love it.

This is my view. I've wanted and mentioned Howard multiple times but thought it was a pipe dream still could be. Making the move for Howard though makes DWill the rental so to speak so it works. Of course in a perfect world you want DWill here but Rochelle would be a year in with experience under his belt. I believe the target is Howard possibly Maye. Howard's presence with a healthy DWill is nice would I love Hicks or Fletcher Cox absolutely having one of those two especially Cox with AD could even make David long look like prime time!!!

I have always wanted help for AD but as of now the most glaring need to me is CB.

Voted none, not because I think we don't need to make a move but because I don't think we will. Wouldn't mind another vet RB like Mack or hell even old man Carlos Hyde. I think our top 4 CB are shaping up nicely and with a lot of 5-1 front with Jones as the only ILB on the field it seems like the Rams are happy with that.

Personally don't want to trade DJax let him pout and either sit on the roster inactive game days or put on his big boy pants and earn his paycheck on the way to a potential Super Bowl.

I think they made the 2 moves they did with the Young trade and Hav restructure to create some money for practice squad moves and have a little cap to roll over next year.

Just my guess.
