Well fuck, guess we are rolling out the same doo doo again :laugh2: ....I forsee every team going the 9ers route and killing us with short routes all day to neutralize our rush. Hopefully something changes there......or just maybe McVay is hiding his true intentions as to not look as desperate? Aw well probably ain't changing shit.

I think by saying they "haven't talked about it" actually means the entire staff spent the entire of the last 2 nights searching for options and have yet to sleep. More to come I'm sure, eventually.

Plays like a much larger player. Real feisty corner with real ball skills and sticky coverage. Right now, he's not getting time on the Broncos, but when he played, he produced. For a late round pick? I'd absolutely take a shot at him, no matter his size. We just need more talent in the backend, period. Size would be preferable with Spoon out, but nothing says we can't double-dip at the trade deadline.

I really would like a Mizzou player just for your benefit and I liked Kris Abrams-Draine when he was coming out, but we don't need his type.

We need outside CBs with size, not a nickel.

Like I mentioned, we need talent period. D-Will, let's be honest, is cooked. Durant and Forbes are disappointments thus far. We could use a youth movement at cornerback as much as we did with our edges and line. I wouldn't be surprised if we traded for multiple corners; we have the picks in this draft and the next to do it.

Doubt they make a trade
 
Right now winning winnable games is paramount. CB is a vulnerability but execution is a killer

Agree that overall we need talent, but that doesn't change the fact that if we traded for him right now, he wouldn't play. Lake would still get 100% of the defensive snaps as he is now.

I kept saying this during draft season. Younger and bigger at CB is what the Rams had to do. They didn’t.
Witherspoon is hurt and DW is looking like he’s seen better days.
Kendrick was dumped and Durant is struggling to look the part.

I don’t see a way around it. The Rams cannot ignore the CB room when it comes to the draft this year.

Huge mistake overlooking that CB room. Not sure what the hell the Rams were thinking. Its not like this secondary was lights out last year.
